I purchased a 10-pack of these hooks to use in my office. As you can see from the attached pictures, I have used them for both Christmas and Halloween decorations. Installation was incredibly easy (other than having to stand on my desk a couple of times). There are secure enough to not slide unless you intentionally push/pull them around.As far as weight is concerned, I would not hang anything from them that was too heavy for the drop tile ceiling grid itself. But as long as you stay under that, you should be fine.If you are a teacher, these would work great in a classroom for things you would normally hang from the ceiling. The hooks are tinted so close to the grid that they are not super noticeable. I plan on leaving mine up year-round for use.The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is due to the price. Normally when I find something that works well, I say it's worth the cost. For these hooks though, I have to say they are a bit overpriced despite the fact that they work very well. Therefore, I still recommend them for use.

I have a small retail shop with a drop ceiling. I'm totally new to drop ceiling accessories and had no idea what to expect. I was worried the clips would be stiff and hard to pry open and I was also worried they wouldn't fit properly because the ceiling tiles in my space come down below the metal grid, and the product photos show the tiles sitting higher above the grid. I was wrong! The clips are SO easy to open you can open and close them one handed if needed, which I did several times up high on the ladder trying to wrangle display pieces and adjust the clip.They are super easy to open and close, and they DO close easily and securely with no problem. Also they fit perfectly in my ceiling with none of the problems I anticipated with the low hanging tiles. I imagines the clips would prevent the tiles from sitting flush, but they didn't at all. The clips look bulky but they fit very well around the metal grid and didn't interfere with the tiles even a little. They even fit around ceiling grid light panels! I am SO impressed with these I will definitely get more when needed.My only disappointment was that you don't get very many for the price. I would like to see probably double this number of clips for what they are charging. Otherwise, the product itself was exactly what I needed and I am very happy with my purchase.

These hooks are great for hang lightweight things from the ceiling. I hung my sound absorption boards from them. Sometimes it tested the strength of the hooks, as they aren't designed for the weight I put on them. If you are hanging some small things, these are great. Just don't put too much weight on each hook, as they will bend easily.

Our whole house is drop ceiling (not my favorite thing but what I’m living with for now). Anyway, we had a dark corner that I wanted to put a hanging light. These clips were perfect. I’ve had my light up for a month and they’ve held firmly and securely. I also used one in my daughter’s play room to hang a decoration. These would also be great to hang holiday decorations the light your home or office.

Terribly overpriced for what they are, but they really do the job of hanging something from a drop ceiling framework. I used 4 in a row to hand some theatrical lights (Par38 cans with LED bulbs). Make sure you add a safety strap if you hang something of any weight from these. If you hang something heavy,

These were great for hanging planters in my classroom. I wasn't sure how it would go but they look great, aren't an eyesore and have held the planters up (I was afraid of them falling but they haven't!)

I needed additional light over a work bench in the basement and a hanging 4 foot LED work lamp was the best option. But hanging it was only possible with these little clever hangers. Easily squeezed two of them around the ceiling grid, and hung the lamp. All I needed was an extension cord to reach my outlet.

These work very well. They're flexible enough to fit around the ceiling rails just with pushing up the ceiling tiles a little bit. Then squeeze it together and let the tile drop back into place. They move along the rail by hand Iig you force it. But it won't move if something is hanging on it. I'll like it.
