Perfect for me
MATERIAL - Everything except the motor and the down rod is plastic making the fan extremely lightweight. This is perfect for me as I live near the sea and the salt air is gruesome on metal. This will hold up just fine. No sense in buying more expensive fans with a lot of metal parts that will just rust away in months. Also, the weight made my shipping fees cost less. Perfect!LOOKS - This is subjective but through my eyes the design of the blades looks pretty good. The contrast of the various colours come together well and gives it an expensive look. Perfect!INSTALL - Speaking as an expert DIYer, the instructions are very clear and it was super easy to follow along. They made most of the connections with clips at the end so the only wires to connect were from the remote receiver to the junction box. I completed the install in under 30 mins and that's because I had to take down my existing fan. Perfect!PERFORMANCE - It has 3 shades of light (warm, cool, white) and 6 speeds. To be honest, I feel like it really has 3 to 4 speeds because its hard to see the difference between them. Also, the last speed #6 could be a little more powerful. Now, this is not to say that it isn't powerful because the fan does push a lot of air in a guest bedroom that's 12ftx12ft or 144sqft. I didn't see any CFM advertised but the breeze it pushes is more than sufficient and is not less than the more expensive mid range fans at Home Depot. Perfect for me!RECOMMENDATION: I would love to see this fan sold in bigger sizes such as 60 inches as I will now be scouring Amazon to find one with similar specs.

Quiet, easy install, pushes a lot of air
Easy install, very quiet, pushes a lot of air. only con is no control over light being 3k or 5k without cycling thru on off twice which you have to do every time you turn on light. I bought three of these and would recommend for low budget option.

I purposely avoid using the annoying light
The fan itself looks nice, really moves the air. But I hate the light. It takes a solid 5 seconds to turn on after flipping the light switch. And the color changing feature by turning the light on and off is not convenient. I would return it, if I wasn't too lazy to take it down and put up my old one

Nice updated fan.
Lovely updated fan. Remote works great - three colors of light, gives off great air and looks sharp.

Nice fan, but make sure it's not a brick before you get too far.
The media could not be loaded. Update: I finally got the fan installed, and it looks nice. However, I am leaving this review at 1 star for the following reasons: 1. The replacement was delayed, and so, it took about 4 days altogether to finish the installation. 2. At the time the replacement arrived, the motor from the "brick" fan began to budge from the oil applied 4 days prior, and the blades could be manually spun, though they didn't move easily when holding the unit and twisting my wrist, back and forth (Note: The replacement fan was oiled, and the blades spun, but I added more oil and installed the fan). 3. This fan kit doesn't come with what you need in case the bracket doesn't fit the fixture box (other light & fan kits come with these items), so I had to buy those things in addition to the household oil & WD-40. 4. The seller was no help, and now they get the fan back, nice & lubed up for them, and I have to haul the big dirty box to the UPS Store. Some final notes: The household oil still would have taken "days" to spread down and lube the motor; also, as mentioned in another review, the fan was not flush with the ceiling when installed, so that's another project.Original Review:Nice fan with "propeller" blades. It looked very nice installed, and the lights, with remote, were operational, but the blades don't spin. It took half a day to "discover" this, to include removing the old light fixture & bracket and dealing with box fit issues for the new bracket. The blades should move, without power, when you pick the unit up and twist your wrist. During installation, the LED light connection should not be difficult to spin when you're trying to drill the screws to connect the blades to the motor. This is to say, the whole thing, assembled, should not be a brick. I wish that I would've made this connection before getting too far with installation. I put WD-40 and household oil in the mechanism, but it looks and feels fused. I "asked a question" here on the page, in case I missed something that should have been removed in order to allow the fan to spin, but the business advised that I contact them through the order portal: I like the wording, but I don't know what that is on Amazon and, in this instance, there is simply no option to "contact seller" for some reason. I've ordered a replacement, but now, I have this large box in the way, have to take apart this fan to send back (which is not as easy as it should be), and I'm hot. It's a pain to disassemble when you can't see and have to reverse shift & slide, and snap. As large as the box is, the unit could probably be shipped assembled with the egg carton support. However, I did install the bracket and everything should be ready when the new unit arrives. Hopefully, it works. Life is hard enough. The "easy things" need to be easy.
