52” Smart Low Profile Ceiling Fans with Light Remote,Wood,Flush Mount,White

I replaced a thirty year old fan over my seat on my porch. It clunked, rubbed and appeared ready to drop. My wife wanted a fan over her place as we often have meals on our front porch (the cheek of her wanting her own fan😜) but I had to follow orders. We needed something close to the ceiling so I was concerned about air movement - no problem. They supply balance weights - but , just not needed as there is no vibration as in non! Just blades silently spinning and some air noise at maximum spin (#6). Assembly couldn’t be more simple. Make sure the electronic control goes into the hub as shown in the instructions - OK - I read the destructions afterwards as I try to prove I'm a redneck at heart😜. Absolutely noiseless other than air movement at high speed but in the still heat I love the cooling breeze. I was concerned about converting a light fitting to hold a fan (over my wife’s seat) so I wasted time and strengthened it - but this modern fan is so light in weight it’s held securely by four tiny screws. The hand held control is obvious and simple. It took me a little time to link Alexa but once done I love the ease of controlling fans and lights. The wooden blades in my porch are a delight to see when the fans are stationery and as an ex engineer I find interesting that they are so well balanced. To say I’m happy with my purchase is an understatement. My wife will kill me for using this photo of our untidy front porch - but at my age I won’t loose too many years.

Pros: + Works with most smart assistants ( google, Alexa) + Powerful yet quiet fan + Bright light with dimming and 2700k to 6000k color adjustment + Easy to install + Very low profile (8 inches) Cons: - no 5ghz wifi support It's a good fan with plenty of smart integration. They make a big difference in keeping the house cool here in Florida. I used to set my thermostat to 73 to stay cool. With the fans I can now keep the thermostat at 77-78 during the day and 75-76 at night. My only complaint is that it only supports 2.4 GHz wifi networks. With that being said I was happy enough to buy 7 of these fans so it's a minor issue and it's one issue that it shares with many others on the market. Some nice to haves that I would like to see on the next version of this fan: 1.) Please make a version that uses light neutral colors like white or a light grey. A whitr fan housing and a bamboo color woodgrain for the blades would really match the interior of newer homes since that seems to be the color scheme I've seen in newer homes these days. 2.) It also would be nice if they offered a model with an even lower profile, like around 6 inches. I feel that would be doable since there's a ton of space in the upper portion of the fans housing that isn't really used. it probably won't be a big deal for most users but my ceilings are only 8ft from the floor and I use a projector in my room which the fan gets in the way of slightly, so every inch counts in my use case. 3.) A built in occupancy sensor would make it truly smart. That way I would never have to manually turn it on or off. I'm working on getting them to work with some motion and occupancy sensors so they turn on and off automatically if the room is occupied or not. Having this built into the fan as a feature would make it really stand out in the smart fan market.

This fan and light are top notch!! The blades are a study formed plastic, but that is not to say that they look less than luxurious! They look great and were easy to attach to the motor housing. The gold is a warm brushed kind of gold and it matches perfectly with the gold spray paint I used to paint my dresser knobs. The fan/light was relatively easy to install- I love the clips that attach all the remote wires from the fan to the light. It was a bit of a challenge to wind them all around, but definitely all well thought out and explained in the directions. My favorite feature is the LED lights that can be made warm yellow, bright white, or blue white. You can control the color of the light as well as the brightness right from the remote. And the fan has multiple speeds and direction buttons for summer or winter rotation. Even on the lower settings this really moves the air in our 17x20 bedroom and it is whisper quiet- not a clue that it’s moving at all. Really- I don’t know what else you would need from a ceiling fan. The style is updated and clean. Definitely worth the price, as I saw much more expensive units that didn’t seem to be as complete as this little number. I’d say it is the focal point of the master Reno! Not at all sorry I went with this unit!

The remotes are CONSTANTLY losing their programming to the fans and need repairing. What a frustrating fan. Not only do the remotes forget their connection to the fan so the kids late at night turn on their light and it’s bright but then I can’t turn off their light from the remote. So then the light is on and I want to turn it off from the app and the light is on but the app doesn’t register the state of the light correctly and then I had to turn on the light to turn it off with the app. Which is frustrating because it wakes up the kids because the light is too bright and then they don’t go back to sleep. This fan remote and app sucks. I would not buy another “smart” (dumb) fan again. But it’s so hard to find basic fans today for a wired application or that just work reliably.

The fan is quiet, even on high, 6. The light is bright, dims, and changes from warm, to white or cool. The 3 lightweight wood blades move enough air for a master bedroom. The remote works well. My installation took about 5 hours but also included switching out the old fan and replacing the wall switch that regulated the speed on the fan being replaced. The hardest part was aligning the small screws with the little holes while working on a ladder near the ceiling. The instructions were vague. You need to completely remove two mounting screws and back the remaining two out part way to hook into a slot and turn groove. Then you insert the 2 screws you removed to complete the hanging of the motor. I might recommend mounting the first fan blade before moving the fan motor to the ceiling plate. You would do this by inserting the two rather short screws and washers through the first blade (this side up label up) using the holes indicated by the double-headed arrow. This allows you to find the first two holes and align the screws while working on the ground and not perched on a ladder. Once the first blade is installed the remaining blades have something to guide them into place making it easier to find the screw holes. With a wall switch providing off/on the fan remembers the last setting made by the remote for fan speed and direction of airflow. I have Amazon Alexa available but stopped installing the skill when it asked my name, email address, phone number, and Amazon password and provided a command to send this info to China. Call me paranoid but that seemed like it might be all someone in China would need to access my in-house microphones. The command to switch to China might be optional but it reminded me of where this was made. I may attempt the Alexa connection again when I haven't just spent 5 hours climbing ladders and doing electrical work. Basically the fan seems well made and very quiet. My old fan was over 40 years old and the rubber bushing that hung the AC motor to a mounting plate had failed and was hitting around 60db+. This fan looks good, sits 8" from the ceiling where the old fan was around 15", and in white it blends in with the ceiling and makes the room look larger.

Normal AC fan motors pretty much always produce a very annoying hum, especially at low speeds. This one is has a DC motor, and doesn't have that issue at all – it is dead quiet, even at the lowest speed. There are 6 speeds you can set it to, as well as reverse, and a "breeze" mode, where it keeps speeding up and slowing down like an ocean breeze. All of this can be done with a pretty minimal remote control. The fan is very lightweight, low profile, and pretty easy to install. Keep in mind that it needs to be wired to only one "hot" wire; it won't support separate hot wires per fan and light, so you'll have to cap one of them off. This is the same ceiling fan as the equivalent model from brands Livory and Sofucor. The installation and operation instructions are pretty hilariously terrible. But, that said, both the installation and operation are very simple. Connecting this to a smart home app was a breeze, as well. The instructions tell you to use the Tuya app, but I used the SmartLife app instead, without issue. Since the SmartLife app was already connected to my Google Home and Alexa integrations, the fan just automatically showed up in both, as two new devices: one for the fan and one for the light. Speaking of light, it is very good. You can control both the brightness and the "temperature" of the light, and it's very bright at the highest setting. There are only three "temperature" settings if using the remote, but if you're using the smart app, you can actually set the light it to anything in between. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase!

I really love this fan. It is sleek and beautiful. I love the different light and fan modes. Install didn't take a long time. I highly suggest buying this Fan we bought 2.

MAN, I love this fan. The old fan in my room had a down rod that was wobbly and loose, so it was making a ton of noise. This new fan is mounted flat against the ceiling without a down rod. There is no banging, no wobbling. Even the fan operating at its highest setting is little more than a quiet breeze, and yet the airflow is strong and palpable. This particular room stays substantially warmer than the rest of the house, but with this fan on full blast, it’s actually still quite comfortable. The remote is SO convenient. This fan doesn’t force you to use a smartphone app, although you could if you were so inclined. I haven’t actually connected it to Google Home because the remote allows you to set the speed of the fan, the color temperature of the light and brightness, and of course turn both off and on. The installation was pretty straightforward. It definitely requires at least two adults and a step ladder. The worst part is stripping the wires and then holding up the fan while you awkwardly and clumsily twist bare copper and put caps on the exposed wire. You might need the person holding the fan up to swap out if their arms get tired or get a second step ladder so they don’t have to hold their hands so high overhead. Oh, and definitely use a smaller screwdriver for the screws on the mount near the ceiling. I accidentally scraped a small spot of ceiling paint because my screwdriver was too thick, and the screw is SO close to the ceiling.
