Mat is sturdy with an outstanding grip. I do a lot of hot yoga, and it doesn’t get slippery as my previous mat did. My yoga teacher highly recommended it and it is used by many other students in the yoga studio. I have the extra thick version and it provides nice cushioning for my knees and I even notice it with my hands/wrists. It’s a bit longer length which is nice, there’s plenty of room to stretch out. One thing I noticed with the grippiness, when doing fast movements or sliding back/forth (cardio mountain climbers) I sometimes stubbed my toe. Once you get used to it, it’s fine and I think it’s a good thing because it helps my form -I don’t drag my feet and am more conscious to do the movement correctly. Also, note with the thicker version, it doesn’t roll up so easily, but the cushy benefits outweigh this! It's more expensive than other mats but well worth it - superior to other mats. Highly recommend it!

A winner right off of the bat. It grips without being sticky, which takes away a lot of stress immediately. I don't slip at all, even when I’m sweaty. The 6mm is heavy, but not terribly so. This is my home mat, so it wont do much moving around anyway. The rubber smell is faint compared to other brands I’ve tried. And it’s a beautiful dark teal color, which I love. Very calming.It does show evidence of my practice after I’m done, which is expected, but if I wipe it down with dawn and hot water it reverts back to its original beauty no problem. Im honestly impressed, especially when “investment” mats (aka, at this price point) are worrisome to me because the “eko” mat that compares to this one was AWFUL. If this one is even remotely durable (1-2 years at 3-4x a week), then I’ll be a Bmat girlie for life.Solid, solid mat. I have high hopes!

This mat is really well made- it's heavy, but not as heavy as a Manduka Pro. It's got great grip, but not too much (it didn't feel super sticky) and it's really cushiony and supportive for my joints. I'm really happy with this mat!

The mat is thick and sticky in hand and looks very solid. The weight is not too heavy. But the footprint of the handprint remains white and it smells a little bit bad. I bought it in blue(After one month use)Because it is a rubber mat, the footprint of the handprint remains. And the dust sticks. Nevertheless, I'm satisfied and used. The grip that holds hands and feet is very good.The smell is not bad and the knees are sore with thick thickness.

This is the second Bmat that I have purchased. My first one lasted 6 years. It was a 4mm mat. I decided to buy the premium 5 mm mat this time. I read multiple reviews and articles about the best yoga mats before I purchased this one. I was tempted to buy the Manduka Pro however after reading those reviews about having to treat the mat to make it sticky, I decided not to buy that one. This Bmat is already sticky. I do yoga daily or more than once a day and these mats hold up after daily wear. I travel with it when I go anywhere. Be aware that this mat is sticky and will collect hair and lint that from everywhere. After time, this will not happen anymore. This mat is a little heavier and larger than my 4mm, but I am loving it. It is also very comfortable. I would highly recommend this yoga mat for anyone who is in the market for a professional yoga mat!

I wish I had purchased this mat a year ago, but I purchased a Manduka Pro instead. BIG mistake. I could never "break in" the other mat. The B mat is AWESOME! Right out of the package it was great! No slipping AT ALL!!! The thickness and length are perfect. The only thing I do notice is that I have to wipe it down with water more often than I have had to with other mats due to seeing smudges. Although, I don't see that as a negative. It's probably better anyway. It had a very slight rubber smell but nothing that was a deal breaker, and that smell is completely gone now. When I've finished my practice, it rolls up just fine. As someone who practices Yoga 5-6 days per week, I would highly recommend this mat! I don't think you can go wrong!

I bought this mat after using my regular mat in buti yoga, the thickness really helps and it is slip proof which while moving at a fast pace and sweating is nice to not have to worry about slipping and falling so you can focus on what you are doing rather than trying not to fall.I would definitely recommend this mat to others.

I watched many reviews and definitely wanted a mat that would still be sticky when sweating. It fits the bill and then some. Extremely high quality! Love it!

Larger/longer than expected and good quality. This mat is heavy and made of harder rubber than your average cheap yoga mat. I find it supportive on my joints/knees. Easy to clean. No slippage during poses. A bit hard to manhandle because it is so large and heavy. Also the rubber feels cool to the touch so a bit less comfy for more chilled/stretchy practices. But theres probably no better mat for energetic flows!I wouldnt recommend this as a travel mat or to take with you to classes. They sell small versions if that's what you need. Also if you're new to yoga, I suggest going with a cheap mat first to see if you want to stick with a regular yoga practice (you can even get mats with pose markers to keep you well alligned). You really dont need to spend $100+ on a mat as a beginner. You might not even need a mat depending on your floors and it you can typically rent a mat if you're trying out new classes.But these mats are a nice treat/reward for consistent practice. I'm happy with my upgrade. I can tell this mat will last a long time even with my pup occasionally napping on it and walking over it with his claws/paws.

Ich habe die Yogamatte jetzt knapp zwei Wochen in Gebrauch und habe sie ausgiebig getestet. Um es gleich vorab zu sagen - ich bin begeistert! Meine alte Yogamatte war nicht schlecht, aber eher ein leichtes günstiges Modell, bei dem man nicht allzu sehr ins Schwitzen kommen sollte. Deshalb habe ich mich auch quer durch das Internet gelesen, welche Matte wirklich guten Grip hat, dick, aber nicht zu dick ist und sich auch nicht, während während man im herabschauenden Hund ist, verzieht. Ja, die BMat Strong ist eher im oberen Preissegment, aber man investiert schließlich nicht jede Woche in eine neue Yogamatte und so war ich durchaus bereit etwas mehr Geld auszugeben. Was soll ich sagen - es hat sich gelohnt. Ich bin schockverliebt und habe das Gefühl ich bin von Polo auf Porsche umgestiegen. Gefühlt sind einige Posen plötzlich sehr viel leichter, weil man sich nur auf sie konzentriert und kein bisschen darauf, nicht in der Haltung wegzurutschen. Hände und Füße bleiben an Ort und Stelle. Ich habe jetzt keine Sturzbäche geschwitzt, aber ich vermute auch da sollte der Grip immer noch sehr gut sein. Jedenfalls ist er ausgezeichnet und übertrifft viele der günstigeren Matten. Über die Sache mit dem Staub... auch das habe ich im Internet gelesen und es steht auch noch mal explizit auf dem Zettel der Matte. Da sollte man als Kunde fair sein und das nicht als Mangel mit einer fiesen Bewertung ankreiden. Und ja das Ding zieht am Anfang wirklich extrem Staub und vor allem Hautschuppen an. Die Matte sieht nach kürzester Zeit schon ziemlich verratzt aus ABER das legt sich tatsächlich wieder. Inzwischen habe ich ungefähr 12-15 mal Yoga auf der Matte gemacht und langsam sieht sie wieder normal aus. Mich hat das mit dem Staub auch nicht sonderlich gestört, da mein Hauptaugenmerk auf einem guten Grip lag und es sowieso hieß, dass das nur am Anfang so ist - was aus meiner Erfahrung auch stimmt. Die BMat Strong ist ein kleines bisschen dicker als die normale BMat. Man spürt den Boden trotzdem noch gut unter den Füßen, sitzt aber äußerst bequem auf der Matte und hat eine ideale Dämpfung der Knie. Was vielleicht noch zu erwähnen wäre, der Grip ist so extrem und gut, dass ich beim über die Matte laufen schon zwei Mal mit dem Großen Zeh an der Matte hängengeblieben bin. Das passiert allerdings auch nur, wenn man zu faul ist die Füße anzuheben und darüberschlurft :) Mein Fazit ist also eine UNEINGESCHRÄNKTE KAUFEMPFEHLUNG! Ebenso ein großes Kompliment an den Verkäufer Green Yoga Shop. Der Kundenservice ist super! Gerne kaufe ich wieder hier ein!

I was looking for a mat that has good grip, even in sweaty conditions. This one is great, has good cushning for me. I don’t think it’s a good option for travel as it’s quite heavy. But I use it at home so for me it’s perfect. I also had the Liforme yoga mat and I would say the BMat si better in terms of grippiness.

I was previously using a typical, cheap yoga mat (probably $10 from the grocery store). I have shoulder issues and I could tell that I was straining my arms and shoulders while in downward dog on the cheap mat because my hands would slip and I would have to really tense up to keep from slipping. I've been using the B Mat for just over a month and it has made a WORLD of difference! The surface is quite sticky/grippy and my hands and feet don't slip. I can hold postures with much more ease than I could with my old mat. Initially, the stickiness of the mat does attract hair and dust but after using it for a month it doesn't stick as much. I bought the yellow colour knowing that it might stain/show dirt more than a darker colour, but my mat does not look dirty at all yet. I only use this indoors and I've wiped it down with a wet cloth a couple of times when it showed any dirt. It's still looking good! The thickness of the mat is also amazing for the knees. On a thinner mat I would feel uncomfortable in any postures on one knee. The B Mat is so thick (this is the 6mm version) so it makes everything much more comfortable. Though the mat is thick I don't lose stability since it has such good grip. This is not an inexpensive mat but I think it was worth every penny! It has greatly improved my at-home yoga practice.
