Exactly as advertised. Just as I needed for my aquarium.

I am running a 120-gallon freshwater aquarium with bubble wands along the back and a decoration that emits bubbles as well. I had a Tetra Whisper Air Pump in the past, which was very quiet, but I did not feel I had enough power to push the air I wanted. The AQQA Aquarium Air Pump has lots of power and pushes enormous amounts of air through the accessories, I'm super happy with that. When reading reviews and doing research, I was led to believe the sound level was lower. I was accustomed to about 30-35 db in the past, and I am reading closer to 58-60 db enclosed in my cabinet. TBH, with such a large air pump, I was expecting some additional noise, but this came in slightly higher than expected. As far as performance. This has been an exceptional pump for the $$. I do not know about longevity yet, as this is my first time purchasing this brand, and I have only had it for a couple of weeks. A fair warning should be in place about the noise level if that is a factor in your application.

I purchased this air pump for my aquarium and when it arrived was all broken the box with the accessories all loose. At the moment the item is seem ok but have to keep an eye just in case hope it last for a good time. Not happy with the delivery in my year been a prime member it’s the first time I have this concern.

Finally, an air pump that really delivers the airflow that it claims. I have a deep tank that has been a problem to aerate because the back pressure minimizes the effectiveness of all the previous pumps that I have purchased. Most of those pumps were also damaged and became ineffective because of the back pressure damaging them. Up to now the only pumps that worked for me were the old piston pumps from the past. These pumps however use a lot of electricity and get very hot. Parts such as washers and belts are difficult to find to maintain these antique pumps. This AQQA aquarium pump works beyond my expectations and delivers a strong and consistent air flow.

All 4 ports have adjustable levers to adjust air flow individually, nice feature. I turned off couple of ports while not being used. The noise level is comparable with my other air pump used in the past, nothing bad to say.

This pump is powerful but loud. It's the most powerful pump I've come across at this wattage and price.It makes way too much noise to keep, even in my garage based fishroom.I returned and ordered a replacement and that one was just as loud. So I returned that too.If you don't mind the noise, this is an excellent pump. It ran like 14 sponges and a few uplift tubes. It would be great for a pond, but I don't know if it's rated for outdoor use.Maybe I'll give it another try at some point, but for now it's louder than I can tolerate.

I really like this air pump as it is very good price and it is very powerful, but surprisingly, it is very quiet too.

It can flood my small pond with air. There is an adjustment for airflow on the cord. I am very impressed.

The media could not be loaded. This air pump is very strong. I read another review that said the diaphram or baffle?? on the bottom of the airpum in the little circle area where the air enters was missing. Mine also had nothing there. I cut up a piece of felt and added it. This greatly quieted the initially very loud pump. I also put it inside a cabinet to cut down the noise as well. This would probably not be a great pump for an office or bedroom. But for a fish room or large living area the noise level is doable.

Stopped working completely after 4 months. Just past the return window, wasted my money, don't waste yours. Cheap made in China crap.
