These Paracord Bracelet Shackles are exactly what I have been looking for! I made a couple of paracord bracelet style collars for our 2 cats and neither one worked as I expected. I used keychain rings for one and a breakaway collar connector for the other. The breakaway collar kept falling off and after talking to our vet discovered that the whole breakaway collar concept was a solution to a problem that didn't really exist so I set out to find a better solution for making the collar. I used a couple of basic keyrings on each end of the collar and that worked until it didn't. My older cat lost a lot of weight and managed to stick her arm & paw right through the middle of the 3/4" opening in the keyring!So now, with these shackles, that will not happen. These are OK. They are more decorative than actually functional, so I can’t recommend them for survival paragraph bracelets. The attachment points fits two 550 paracord if squeezed really hard. The shackle comes loose with wear unless screwed VERY tight. The shackles really need a loading limit for it to be truly useful.I really don’t recommend
