Especially at heavier weights. This main grip design rests the heel of your palm on a flat panel which helps secure your grip. Some people with sweaty hands may find the grips slippery without using chalk or gloves. If they had some knurling on the main grips, that may help. I'm fine with hand chalk.The 3 different bars give you a good variety of exercise uses. Lat pull downs, tricep press downs, seated rows, etc., and all with many different grip variations along the bar.These bars are a great gym addition.
