Manic Panic Lip Locked Lipstick, Tainted Love, 0.11 Ounce

The lipstick is a beautiful black and it goes on smooth. So smooth that it glides right off your lips very easily.Whenever I wore it, I'd love it looking in the mirror before I left, then would get annoyed having to reapply it constantly throughout the night. Super high maintenance lipstick.I finally got so fed up with it that I researched some more and ended up getting a new one from Portland Black Lipstick Company. It's the same price, looks just as good if not better, stays on forever, and acts like a chapstick so your lips stay smooth and refreshed. I wish I had gotten that one first and never bothered with this one. Now it just sits on my makeup shelf collecting dust.Since I'm a photographer, I might still use this for photo shoots as to not waste my now preferred black lipstick, but I'd never wear it out again.

Good Color , think Nicky Minaj pink. That's the best description I can come up with color wise. It's SUPER bright and looks amazing with a clear gloss over it.Over all it's nice creamy and does not dry my lips out and lasts all day and stays bright.I was honestly expecting a super poor grocery store color cheap product but this lipstick is just what I wanted and the only reason it did not get 5* is it broke off as soon as I opened it and I had to practically stuff the lipstick back into its container. That could be fault of shipping or just something that happens, it has happened to me with my MAC sticks so it's not a big deal.

I like the color, but I didn't realize it had a shimmer to it until I put it on. I had thought it was a solid purple when I bought it, and I didn't see anything in the product description to say otherwise. I'm not a big fan of shimmery or sparkly things, but my boyfriend thinks this lipstick looks great on me, so I'll keep it. I also wish it lasted longer, but it doesn't seem to stay on through eating or drinking or kissing.

I got this thinking maybe it would be pigmented, seeing as the other colors seemed to be. However this was a really big disappointment, sad to say. The color is barely there, its very light and the application is even worse. So incredibly patchy, does not go on evenly and you can put 10 layers on and it still won't work. I gave it one star for being super cheap (8$) and one star for novelty purposes (purple color). Maybe I got a defective one, but it also smelled like burned metal (yes, really). SO, horrible smell too. Use a dry chapstick that smells nice under it if you want to use it. I would take a star away but the delivery was fast so that was alright. If I find a better way to apply it that works, I'll update. For now this is a dud.

As a dark skinned Black woman who wears ONLY purple, I have a hard time finding purple lipsticks which do not look garish and costumey while at the same time providing true purple pigment which does not turn pinkish. When I found other brands they tended to be not only pinkish but also drying. To get the best almost perfect shade took mixing two colors with a gloss. Whew!This lipstick feels luscious, is perfectly royal purple, wears long, and doesnt chap lips. It is not so dark it looks black or brown, not is it glow in the dark glittery like halloween makeup. Bought one tube one day, it arrived the next day, ordered another tube that day. One in purse, one on vanity. Hopefully this will last me through the summer. On second thought, will purchase two more tubes and refrigerate just in case.

It is a good lipstick, but I was under the impression I was buying red not fuchsia. It does go on smooth though and the shine is great. It will come off on everything though. So for the price it is a great product. Alas my search for a blood red lipstick must continue. If you are using this for costume reasons it does permanently stain fake fangs. Rather embarrassing for a "vampire" working for a haunt.

i do wish that i had purchased it when it wasnt 100+ degrees though. it had partially melted in transet. it came in a giant box with so much bubble crap that i thought it wasnt even in there. It is a very pinky red. it is smooth goes on great and is pretty but i really wanted a bright RED lipstick not a bright PINK red lipstick.

I have fair skin with yellow/golden undertones, and this lipstick just did not look right on me.The price is attractive, but the coverage on this lipstick is pretty bad. It's sheer and streaky, which is too bad because it really is a pretty color. I would say this is a good buy if you want to sample a dark purple lipstick and don't want to spend too much money on something you might not look good in (then again, you could just buy a Wet & Wild lipstick...)I do like the packaging, though--very interesting.

After searching for ages for a replacement for my now out of production purple lipsticks, I came across this one. It's a proper PURPLE! None of your boring aubergine lipsticks, which masquerade as purple, with this one. At first, I was a bit worried, as it didn't seem to stay on very long, but after I used a couple of times, it was great. Highly recommend this lippy to fans of purple.

Its so hard to find a good purple lippy but this is totally awesome. The colour and the texture are fantastic. If you're a purple freak like me...then this is the lippy for you. I have had some great comments from my friends on the colour and outside in the sun it sparkles..or so my friend said..will deffo order some more..love it

Put it on, and you'll still have perfect lips six hours later - amazing! It's not sticky, and it's the right colour of red to keep your teeth from looking yellow, so at the price, it's a steal.
