Waykar2000 Sq. Ft Dehumidifier for Home and Basements, with Auto or Manual Drainage, 0.66 Gallon Water Tank Capacity

I just purchased this Dehumidifier and also a Wellsle. On this model the tank float is beefier, on the Wellsle it's just a foam float that will go bad some day SEE PICS BOTH different floats.I've been running them both on "LOW." This one (same size) does not capture water as fast as the Wellsle does also on Low. I have this model in the garage. I was using the drain tube but a stink bug crawled up the tube and blocked it, causing it to leak. So maybe get a screen for the end? For now I went back to the tank. Takes about 4ish hours to fill the tank on low @ 69-73 degrees today. The Temperature and Relative humidity (RH) is VERY ACCURATE with my gauge in the garage, see pictures. Up until I had the shop running it was exactly the same readings, and it's all the way across the shop from the other gauge, 26x32 shop with loft and one high bay for lift. The ease of setup, design and capacity is on par with most models in this range, slides easily. I like the RH on the top and front of the other model but this one ALSO does the job, and it was slightly cheaper at the time.

I bought this for the apartment I recently moved into. The reason I even contemplated buying a dehumidifier was because I found that each day I came home the apartment felt tacky and my chaise felt damp. For some reason the central air con was simply not drying the air out sufficiently. I bought a smaller 900 Sq Ft dehumidifier first and found that it simply did nothing to change that feeling. Ultimately decided to buy a bigger one and return the smaller one and the difference this unit made was worth it. No more damp tacky feeling furniture or my arms/legs sticking to my home office chair, etc. upon first turning it on, my apartment was reading 78% ROH. I set the unit to 45% and took a bit but there was noticeable difference within an hour. By about 2 or 3 hours it had reached it’s set point and maintained until the reservoir needed to be emptied.Pro’s: quiet, works efficiently, and does precisely what it says it does.Cons: a bit bigger reservoir may have made this better. My apartment is filling it in approximately 8 to 12 hours. So if I’m away and it fills, that means when I return - it’s most likely back up to 60+% ROH and tacky again. However setting this to 45% probably makes the current size seem smallish.Overall: great product that reliably dehumidifies my 900 sq ft apartment with very little noise generated at all. Definitely recommend.

I purchased this unit and after following instructions to let it sit upright for 24 hrs before using, I plugged it in. It became clear there was an issue, and I contacted Amazon customer service. After they reviewed photos, they directed me to the manufacturer. Wayfair customer service was very quick to respond, troubleshoot, and then ultimately send me a return label to replace the unit. They kept me updated with the tracking information for the new unit and followed up to ensure it was working. After again following the instructions, I plugged in the new unit and there is a clear difference in my basement. The new unit works perfectly and I love the settings and the fact that you can choose either the manual tank or flexible tube. Definitely would purchase from this company again!

This dehumidifier has made such a difference in the comfort of our house this summer. We live in Houston which is known for hot and humid summers. This machine made our home more livable. This summer we had a real problem with humidity in the house. The a/c had been checked and was working properly and all the ducts were checked for leaks and all was fine. We bought this dehumidifier thinking what the heck. We'll it has been amazing. Easy to use. Beeps when it is full and is easy to clean and pour out the water and put it back in to work some more!

This Waycar dehumidifier is amazing. I put it in the bathroom and turn it on whenever the shower is on. What’s amazing is even if you have the shower on full heat, it is able to take out the moisture before the mirrors start fogging up. The only issue and I’m not sure if it’s the location of the unit or by design, it will drop the humidity down to 40% great. The unit will shut off. Great! However, within a minute or so, the humidity climbs back up, even with the shower off for 8 plus hours. The unit constantly is on and off. What I started doing it setting the timer to run for about 5 hours after the shower is off. The unit will shut down and I can turn it on as needed. What’s also interesting is it will read 72% humidity when I first turn it on and within seconds drops back down to around 50%. Not sure why it does this. I have a separate humidistat in the room and it reads 46%. The unit is also very straightforward to take apart and easy to clean. While inside the unit, it is very, very well constructed. Very good quality inside. I did notice a screw at the top wasn’t tightened all the way down, but no big deal. Wouldn’t have impacted the machine anyways. In addition, customer support is very helpful and that was the main reason I bought this machine was because of other reviews saying that Waycar has great service. They indeed do!
