East top harp
Well built and great tone

First harp.
Very affordable for my first harp. It responds very well to your blow and draws. Very impressed with clarity of notes and overall sound. I’m not giving it a five because I don’t have anything to compare it to. Super happy with this purchase though.

Beautiful
It's beautiful and sounds greatHeads up for other beginners, this harmonica is harder to use when learning single notes. The holes are slightly narrower than the cheap beginners so just keep that in mind. I'm still new to the harmonica but I've tried a few cheap beginners and so far I really like the conjurer brand here on Amazon. It's less than $10. Just treat it nicely so you don't break it because the middle is not supported like this east top harmonica.

Received a lemon- but there is potential here
Man… I am really trying to like easttopI first ordered a lighting in the key of “C”. What arrived was the key of G- which I would’ve accepted and just held onto, but the instrument I received was- i believe- used, and broken. The 1,2,and 3 reeds were horribly out of tune, rattling, and not playing. I took a look under the fiver plates, and the reeds were all scratched up, and bent as if having been tinkered with beforeIf it wasn’t for reviving a lemon, I would have absolutely LOVED the lightning. It had a wonderful crunchy and punchy tone that sounded like an old timey radio (on the notes that worked anyways). It bends left a bit to be desired tho honestly, it didn’t really have the best depth- but all in all cool tone. I returned the damaged harp, and received a full refund without hassle. Now, for the lucky 13- I used my refund money to purchase this model, in the key of A- and again, it’s one of those situations where I really WANT to like it- but something’s missing. The extra 3 low holes are really really cool. They have this low droning/ intentionally rattled sound that is great for some deep, dark, swampy blues- the harp is airtight, but the spacing is odd, the holes seem to be spaced wider than other harps I’ve played, as well as taller, making you have to open your jaw more to play. The bends are very similar to the lighting. It bends, but there isn’t much depth to it.Additionally, and this is to be expected, but the harmonica is very large, the three extra holes make it much longer than regular diatonic harmonicas, but this isn’t an issue. Just an observation.I will be keeping this harp. It arrived in good condition, is properly tuned, and doesn’t have a bad sound- but it certainly has a few areas of improvement. I’m going to spend more time with this harp, and see if I can’t crack it code, and find its sweet spot for playing. There really isn’t such a thing as a “bad harp” (unless broken) but rather that each individual harp tend to have its own quirks, and best playstyle.I would try easttop again, when I have money to spare, and time to play red rover with returns due to poor quality control. I would like to the lucky 13 in an f, and see if those shorter reeds, and faster response doesn’t fix my “complaint's”I would NOT recommend this for beginners- but if you have more experience, and want to play around with a new sound and then definitely check this out- but be patient.I do intend to buy another lightning tho. It has such a cool punchy tone. Perhaps maybe I could get it custom tuned to have more soulful bends?

Great instrument
Bought as a birthday presentGood quality product and gave my husband the opportunity that learn the Blues

Buon prodotto
Volume alto, facile da fare tutti i bending e over bending. Le anche sono elettrosaldate quindi poco regolabili in trasversale e non hanno neanche un profilo netto. Meglio di tante altre armoniche per principianti ma non meglio di altre professionali poco più care.
