I was a little worried it would leave a mark on the table but it didn't even seem that hot on the bottom even after burning for a few hours. I was glad my clothes and hair didn't smell like smoke afterwards.

I have used a few of these portable campfires in the past. This one lights easy and produces a nice flame. However, I got only about 1.5 hours of burn time from it. I added another 1/2 of wax throughout the evening and got a total of 4 hours burn time with the added wax.

I fired this up while camping and in just a few minutes my tent was warm and i changed clothes in comfort. I would buy again

These are really cool.I got these primarily for our emergency kits. You never know when the weather is going to wreak havoc and leave you without power or a fuel source. These put off enough heat for heating up some water, soup or other food types that need to be heated. Aside from being able to use it as a cooking source, it also provides some heat if needed. The tins aren't very big and aren't really heavy, so they don't take up too much space and won't weigh you down. Definitely worth having for an emergency kit whether at home or on the road.

I didn't know what to expect from a campfire in a can, but I was pleasantly surprised.It's about the size of your palm, with 5 large wicks. Once all wicks are lit, they fuse together to form a decent flame that actually puts out a decent amount of warmth if you are sitting close to it.I use it out on my screened porch when the temps are cold. It's nice to have a small campfire no matter where you are. Just make sure the surface you place it on can withstand some heat.

We used one of these on New Year's night (haven't used the second one yet). We lit it while we were out enjoying some fireworks. It produces a decent amount of heat while sitting right next to it, but not a ton to keep you truly warm. It was more just to provide some extra light in the area we were sitting. It fire pit itself does get REALLY hot, and I think it should only be used outdoors with how it burns. I can see how you would be tempted to think it would work indoors as it seems like a glorified candle, but I feel like it gives off enough heat and with the wood burning, it would create more smoke and fire hazard than you would want inside. I used the lid to extinguish it after use, but it was too hot to pick up. We left it outside until the next morning. Also, it really doesn't smell like a fire but more like just candle wax, so you lose some of that fire smell you might want. It would be nice if the candle was scented to smell more like a fireplace. Overall a good product, but there is a little room for improvement.

I love a little fire when I’m hanging out in my front yard, but hauling out my wood burning fire pit is a bit of a pain. While this is certainly small, it does pack a small punch. Great ambience and even a little bit of heat.They advertised it as easy to extinguish. Well, yes and no. You have these four big hollow wick-like things blazing up at you. I quickly edged the lid on, but you gotta make sure you get it centered right so it doesn’t let air in.Overall, convenient and easy!
