Nice budget rod.
The rod feels pretty nice for the price. It is nice and lightweight which makes it great for exploring new fishing holes in my opinion . So far Ive been happy with the build quality if the rod , the line guids are decent as is the reel seat nothing about it feels bad . It is moderately senstive so if im using heavier baits or lures it is easier for for me to feel the rod react than if I was using light lures. But overall this is a decent rod the tip sensitivity is good enough to still feel and see small strikes so for the price I think it is pretty solid.

Decent rod
I'm still waiting for a reel for this one, but the rod seems light and springy.I look forward to using it next season when the weather warms up again. The ability to split it in half is nice for transportation but I'm not sure how that will affect durability since it seemed to have a little mark once I assembled and disassembled it a few times.I don't have a good frame of reference for the value on it, but compared to my vintage spinner rod it is a huge upgrade.

Nice-looking lightweight rod.
This will be used for inshore saltwater fishing with lures and live bait. With a lightweight reel, it has nice balance and feels good in my hand. We’ll see how it holds up to salt water.Pros:It is lightweight at 5 ounces. This could be used for casting lures all day.The Medium Heavy is stiff enough to use with weedless soft plastic lures. It’s not a “wet noodle”.It is very nice looking.Cons:The lower part of the handle is shrink-wrapped and slippery. I prefer a cork grip.It doesn’t have the sensitivity to use with lures that weigh ¼-oz or less.
