4.25 stars!
Zane & Celeste's story was angsty as I expected. Zane was surprisingly so sweet, I expected him to be be grumpy and angry but his immense love for Celeste made him go soft. Celeste was at fault and I liked how her groveling was handled. She was absolutely sincere which is why I couldn't feel angry at her. Both Zane & Celeste's characters had depth and their connection was so deep right from the start. The epilogue was very heartwarming. It was so lovely to see how far every Windsor couple had come and they deserved every bit of their happiness! Overall the book was totally worth the time I spent on it and all the side characters were amazing! I just can't wait to read Lexington's story next!

Tangled but heartily beautiful
Zane and his goddess form a pair like no other. They lack the foundational basis of trust so many times, fall apart time and again only to find their way back to each other. They say there's a thin line between hate and love but in their case I would say their expression of love passes through the lanes of hatred. I loved every inch of the tale. The way they choose each other despite all the mess around and pick each other's broken pieces makes this one a masterpiece. Finished it in a go and loved it just like every other book of their series. I guess I'd have to use an 'in love with them' glittery nail paint to express my feelings. Haha! Loved it!

too much sex
I did like this story but this book is all about sex sex and sex only.. 70% sex scenes and 30% content.. it could be more interesting.

Zane and celeste are goals!!!!!
I loved them. I loved this book. I loved this story. Their story was soooo goooood. And the way my heart broke, the way I cried after first half of the book, wow just wow. I love how the book was not instant love or instant patch up. It literally takes us through them falling in love, them building their relationship alongside their career how they get lost (don't wanna spoil), also how they mend their relationship not just theirs but also with the people who were affected by them. Just chef kiss. This book is really one of the best books I have read this year.

Beautiful first half
I didn't like what Celeste chose between the two important people in her life. Story dragged in between and could have been slowly unwrapping the mystery instead of all knowing at once to keep the interest going.

greatly recommended
This book has brought me to tears I was crying even through the first three books but this was whole different. It shows the importance of trust in a relationship. Love alone is not enough yet it always gives the hope to hang on. It was beautiful journey

Like Zane & Celeste, despite all the flaws, I stayed engaged.
I miss the magical feeling I experienced while reading the first two books of the Windsor family series. Dion and F didn't provide that for me, whereas Zane and Celeste occasionally did. In my opinion, the first 200 pages were unnecessary; Zane and Celeste's story was so dull that I only persevered because of my love for the first two books. The narrative should have started with that conversation between Lily and Celeste.Nevertheless, I enjoyed the beginning of the present timeline, where their mutual hatred was evident, yet their underlying feelings for each other were undeniable. Zane's behavior, particularly his fervent love for Celeste before their wedding, was amusing. However, after they married, their relationship lacked development; they merely coexisted, and the frequent sex scenes at the end of each chapter became monotonous, all these leading to nothing. The development I anticipated only occurred towards the end of the book, which disappointed me. It should have been woven into the middle of the story, and the days spent on Zane's island, where they conversed and attempted to reconcile, should have been depicted in detail on their narrative. Throughout the book, I feel their pain, instead of their genuine love and healing. After years of suffering, they deserved more.

Beautifully Done, Per Usual.
Ms. Catharina Maura has yet again written one of the most beautiful contemporary romances I’ve ever read.Everything about this book has just made me feel over and over again and I loved every bit of it. Zane & Celeste have squeezed their way into my heart so easily, not resonating towards these two and their love is quite literally impossible. The tension, eagerness, undeniable love, UGHHHH SO GOODD!! The love making you say? Impeccable, Chefs Kiss delightful in my opinion! Zane had me swinging my feet, crossing my ankles, BLUSHING on queue with Celeste like the man is dreamy as hell.Faye & Dion will possibly never loose their spot at number 1 but these two rank right under and for good reason. It’s quite literally insane how well I believe I’ve gotten to understand these characters. My intuition kept me moving on to part two laughing out loud, there was a moment where I had to stop reading because I couldn’t stop laughing & this is where I give my deepest appreciation to Catharina. Never changing the persona of Zane made reading this book in one sitting so immensely worth it. She does a damn good job at withholding necessities not needed and I am so THANKFUL. The angst never ceases to not appease me, everything hurts so good and shows a glimpse of what reality can be while still giving hope to readers who hope to one day find a husband like the ones beautifully written in the books they love. I applaud her gracefully, she really does it so well.*Further down may have more implicated spoilers than expected so proceed against your own will, I won’t be surprised if every review has a mini vent section lol.*Celeste & Zane both had major issues. I can’t say one did more wrong than the other because circumstances on each side were too conflicting to choose a side in my opinion. Logically, I know what hit the hardest to who & disappointment will never be dismayed but I grasped something so simple reading this book, understanding. All you can do is understand both sides and read how everything is resolved. Before I go, I have to let one more thing of my chest. Celeste was an amazing friend. She had to accept so much at one time which is why I can’t see myself ever faulting anything she did. Of course, I was disappointed but I understood. She loved Lily so much and it’s something I hate I can’t really feel conflicted over because it shows how much a beautiful person she is. Throughout the whole book all I could think is she was such a great friend to her, I cried every time she discussed her after the reveal. I’m crying now typing this lol but it’s seriously something that’s stuck with me throughout reading. It’s so hard to fault her because that blindside was crucial. Just another thing that sucks because I knew the moment Lily was introduced she wasn’t someone I wasn’t going to like. Mental Illness is real, I’ve dealt with my own issues which is why I’m not bashing her like I want to but what she did & how she did it, holding eye contact, that will forever pang my heart for Celeste. I’m glad she’s got four amazing friends who by law are her sisters as well, it makes me happy for her.

brilliant
If life was hard enough and what they went through it’s a shame but life is like that. Losing your friend like that will make you lose control am glad they found their happiness in the end.

Catharina Maura is never deceiving me!
I admit that the concept of the Second Chance trope is not my favourite. But in this book it is approached with great sensitivity. First we see Celeste and Zane meet. Their love of competition brings them closer together. Their rivalry is so cute I loved the first few passages. And the reason they broke up made me want to scream. When they meet up again, it's not under the best of circumstances. I couldn't wait to find out how it was going to end because in the second half of the book I felt sad for them. Read this book. The author's writing never disappoints and this series is a real nugget.
