The client was also happy with this purchase and said it is easy to use and is quite sturdy

On initial observation the cutter seemed ideal but on my first attempt to cut a large piece of Cheddar the wire push the cheese sideway as i lowered the handle resulting in a slanting cut which was unacceptable.I think the base block should have a restraining edge along the nearest side to the person cutting to hold the cheese in position so as to get a straight cut.If Liam getting this wrong in operation please advise .

Purchased yesterday Thursday, well delivered yesterday and have asked for a refund as the device is actually extremely poorly built. Circlips on underside of board far too far from fittings allowint handle to move out of alignment with cutting slot. Steel wires , all bent and far too long for accurate slicing . Only £10 app but still a pretty poor device. Had the circlips on the handle fitting been fitted in such a way that the handle could not slide left or right and the wires the correct length and not bent it may have worked but sadly a fail on both accounts .

There very flimsy so I like the idea so have ordered a solid base one

For what its made for cutting cheese

This item does not seem man enough to tackle todays per packed cheeses.

The cutter is great pity the wire bit slack and can’t tighten it anymore

Supposed to come with spare wires but none in box.
