Bought this for my husband for Christmas so he could securely keep a tablet in his car. Thief broke in last night and broke the plastic base of the mount. Husband was under the impression that it was all metal which is why the product is $$$. I don’t think anything valuable should ever be kept in cars (my husband does not share this philosophy), but wanted to give folks a heads up that the mount is not theft proof.

I have this installed in my polaris rzr, it gets bounced around, limbs hit it, splashed with mud, rained on you name it and it holds up where others i had did not! Very durable, you wont regret the purchase

Functions fine as-is, but if you're looking at that ball mount and considering using RAM hardware to extend the capabilities don't do it. The ball mounts on this are a slightly different size from the standard RAM mounts and they won't tighten up if you try using a different RAM arm with it.

Just installed in the sxs. Should work out great. We will Test run with it this weekend. Running a Samsung 10.5”. Galaxy s5e

It does a great job holding my tablet loaded with lifetime maps in my polariis razr Would recommend it to everyone

The screw that holds down the lock fell off within the first two weeks. Would have rated a 5 if this had not happened. Holds iPad well but because of screw falling off could not rate higher.

This tablet mount is sturdy. Great quality! I like the lock feature on it. I mounted it in my Can-Am Defender ATV.

the mount can be undone with a thumb turn or allen key (standard any hardware store), and the lock is the cheapest i have ever seen, seems like for this kind of money it would actually be secure.
