Purchased a 4 ton unit which I immediately replaced with a 10 ton unit. The pump in the 10 ton unit failed on first use. This air assist automatic pump saved the day and is now being utilized for both units. The up/down press button doesn't work well, but it still is an improvement over the 4 and 10 ton hand pumps.

Nice. I didn’t know I needed this until I bought it. Replaces old one on auto lift. I did have to alter the bracket. This one is a little larger.

There's an old automotive hydraulic lift in the back of one of the buildings on my property that has never been used as long as I've owned the place. I have no idea how old it is, but the pump has been dead the whole time. I put new lifts in a different building, so I just never bothered with it until I got this. This got that old lift running again.If you don't know what you're doing, the instructions are pretty weak. I have done this before, so I forgot to even look at them until I was already finished. If you've never installed a pump like this, go watch some videos on the internet. It's not that difficult.I decided to test this by lifting a pickup truck that was getting its air shocks replaced. It held up the truck without issue the whole time. I then just left it up there overnight since no one was going to be in there anyway. It was still in the same spot in the morning and not several inches lower or smashed into the ground.It may seem silly that I left the truck up in the air like that, but I wanted to make sure it was safe to actually be under the lift with something up there. I would rather find a truck on the ground in the morning with no one under it rather than be smashed by a truck in the middle of working on it.Thus far, I have no problems with this. It works as intended and has caused no issues.

There are only (4) pages if you include the cover page, the troubleshooting page, and the diagram page, so there is not much in the way of setup instructions provided.All that being said, for the price, this pump would be hard to beat. It works very well in limited use. My opinion may change after I have worked it harder, so I'll continue to monitor and update if anything problematic occurs. Until then, I would definitely buy it again if I need another pump.

I had this unit lifting up a 7000 pound unit and left it up for about five days. It did not drop or sag at all which leads me to believe that the seals are pretty good in this thing for the money you’re gonna spend on this I think it’s worth it because some of the other ones from major brands are much more expensive just to get the same job done doesn’t make much sense to spend all that money when this works just as well.
