Small kibble size yay!
I had been giving my 20lb dog the lamb meal recipe for ages and accidentally ordered this one (because the package was green like the lamb formula and I didn’t think twice!) when we moved and no local store carried the brand. I was shocked to open it and find the kibble to be tiny pinhead size pellets instead of the normal blueberry sized pellets. This is great for my small elderly dog who was starting to have trouble eating the lamb formula presumably due to the size. He was recently chewing and spitting some out and balking at eating it all together . The pellets of this are much easier for him to manage. So small that he tends to inhale them and gag sometimes so now I just wet his food for a few min before he eats it. Small pellet size allows it to soak up the water quickly.

My fur babies love it!
I already like the Holistic Select brand (it's the only thing that my cat can eat without stomach upset), but I was happy to find this particular variety, because my little Chihuahua is only 5 lbs and needs tiny food. This is perfect and they both love it, and a lot of times will even eat it over moist food. I highly recommend it!

CAUTION- almost killed my dog
I'm not sure if I got a bad batch, but this food almost killed my dog. I have a Westie and she got very sick on this food. Throwing up, diarrhea, and she even pooped blood. A LOT of blood every half hour for about 12 hours. Less frequently after that, but even with none of the food, the stomach results after have lasted over 3 days . I will never be feeding her this food again.

Good for sensitive tummies
I love this food. My shih tzu has a sensitive gut and this was recommended to me because of the probiotics. She has never had a problem digesting it and I like that the pieces are small. We added to the family with a rescue Pekingese mix who seems to like it equally well though I suspect he was table fed before he came to us.

Best little kibbles ever!
Knowing our dog is getting all she needs and having small teeth the kibbles are easy for her to chew. These were the ticket for her!
