I figured I was taking a chance on this chair because of the price. I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality once you get it assembled. I agree with the other reviews…it is tedious and time consuming to put together, but if you follow the instructions step by step, it assembles very well. I just bought it a week ago so have only used it a few times, but it performs nearly identically to chairs used in the studio. No complaints with the quality or performance of this Pilates chair. For the price, it is a solid piece of Pilates equipment for your home. Well worth the investment of time to assemble it.

This is a great Pilates chair for our home gym. Easy to assemble and super sturdy.

We are missing a small wooden piece, U to be specific so we haven't been able to use it. The pieces we do have seem well made and sturdy, will update review once we receive the other piece and can completely put our chair together and put it to use!

I am very pleased with this chair for the price. OTHER THAN missing parts. I read this in other reviews. I am missing 8 essential screws. Their response was the manufacturer will have to make the screws!! I know I’ll never see them. I fell backwards because instability. They ignored first request. Off to hardware store to find replacements.With Amazon involved I was reimbursed the $20+ for the screws. The M screws are better a little longer. Fairly easy assembly. 71 year old woman.

This chair is very beautiful. Beware it is significantly bigger than the wunda chair or the EXO chair. Check the measurements before you buy it and compare to other chair options to be sure you have space ... if you're used to dealing with the regular studio sized chair like me, I assumed that this would be about the same size.It functions and operates very well, except for the fact that the springs seem too small to fit very easily on and off the lever in the back that attaches to the pedal where you change spring tension. I got them on one setting, but because it was so difficult to get them on and back off again I'm having to just leave them there for now. This is not how a regular studio chair operates..Set up was more convenient than I thought. I built it myself… It did take an hour and a half half or so, but I didn't go too fast, intentionally. I was short one washer and screws. Baggie was open inside the box and screws started falling out as soon as I cut the box open, which was annoying..Originally, I gave this chair three stars because of the spring issue… But now I've been using it a couple of days and while it is still difficult to get the springs on and off, it does feel like it might be getting a little bit easier as the plastic sort of grind away. So I came back and gave it five starsI have sent a request to the seller. I will update this review once I receive information on what to do.

I find it every bit as good as what you find in a typical studio. It took me about an hour and a half to assemble (which wasn’t hard at all just slightly time consuming). Feels super sturdy and safe. Have been using almost every day since I’ve bought it. If you’re debating, I’d say don’t wait. The only thing that is different is it has 4 springs instead of 2 (2 heavy, 2 light), but due to this there is more customization on strength levels. It just takes a second to figure out your baselines.

Laminated vs solid wood, but that is what you would expect for this price point. I have used it for a month now and done all of the same exercises that my pilates class does and I think it is going to hold up well. Definitely happy with the purchase. Took about an hour to set up. Set up was just putsy, but not hard to do.Appreciate that it has roller blade wheels on back, so you can move it easily and the balance handles are nice for harder exercises.

Good product. Was easy to put together but took a few hours. Can do all the exercises but, the pads on the levers are extremely sub standard. It's just a foam rubber rectangle covered by faux leather plastic. It slides around so if you kneel on it your knee hits the edge of the wood underneath. Very uncomfortable. They should at least glue the foam rubber to the board underneath. Or design it better.
