Clean the area good before applying and it’ll be perfect around any window.

When I went to put it on the cowl it turns out that I do not have the right kind of cow for this strip even though the picture showed that I do? I'm out the money because I had to trim it so that's disappointment every dollar counts nowadays so that's disappointment every dollar counts nowadays

Awesome and thicker seal.

This seal is supposed to be for the front, or rear windshield on my car. The window I need it for is the rear. This seal is a little tedious to install, but not impossible. It fit firmly around the top, and sides of my back window. It would not hold at all to the bottom edge. I tried it in several different places along the window, because the seal wasn't long enough to install around the entire window. I thought putting it along the top, and sides would make the most sense. But it was only long enough to cover along the top, and halfway down each side, which looked ridiculous. If I cut it in half, I could attach it to both sides. But that would leave the top, and bottom edges without any seal. This was not a predicament I was planning on having. I checked, and confirmed that it would fit my car. So I don't understand why I am having to choose which part of the window I will be able to seal. Also, this seal does not come with any sort of adhesive substance. This seal did fit around the edge of my car window, but I can't see it staying securely in place without being held on by some sort of glue, or adhesive. It would come loose with the first downpour of rain. It definitely needs something to permanently attach it to the window. Just fitting it around the edge without securing it isn't even worth doing, because it isn't going to protect against the circumstances it is supposed to. Eventually it will come loose, or peel off. Also, I recommend measuring the entire outside edge of the window you are planning on installing this on before getting this product. You may want to order more than one seal to be able to cover the entire edge of the windshield you intend to use this on.

Cleaned the heck out of the area and the rubber kept coming up because the adhesive would not hold it to the window. I have a few spots the rubber sticks up. I had to get some other adhesive at Home depot to complete the job.

I’m using this seal for a camper door edge to keep rain out, not necessarily the intended use. The rubber is nice and pliable and seems like it could make gentle turns easily. My concern however is how well it will grip to an edge. There is no reinforcement to grip an edge with any force. I plan on using a contact cement to overcome this and think the seal will perform just fine for its intended use.
