iSpyPen Pro X - Full HD 2K Resolution Spy Pen Camera - USA Engineered State of Art Secret Recording Device - New and Improved 2023 Model (32GB, Sapphire Blue)

I saw this Pen camera listed on Amazon and was listed as a 2K recording device, soI am now testing one out to see how well it operates. So far it seems to do very wellwith recording videos and is very simple to use. There are some things I have noticedand want to mention in my testing.Note: All my recording tests have been done inside my house with adequate lights turned on.I mainly use these devices for recording videos only. I do not need to do photos.1. I received 2 boxes in which one nice protected box had only the Pen inside. There were noinstructions that came with the Pen (but for me, was simple to use) The 2nd box containeddifferent attachments to make the Pen look cosmetically different colors. May use some ofthem in the future.2. I have used other Pen cameras so operation of this Pen is very similar. On the back of the Penthere is a tiny hole which you will see either blue or red lights come on. To start recording on thePen, just press down on the button on the top of the Pen and hold it down till the first Blue lightappears, then let up on the button. One more blue light will appear then go away, The Pen isnow recording. There are no other indications that the Pen is doing anything.3. To stop the Pen from recording, just press and hold down the button again on the Pen and waittill you see red lights appear in the tiny hole. There will be 2 red lights and then nothing else. TheThe Pen should now be turned off. I don't think this Pen captures Pictures, but with no instructions,I am not sure yet. The folder in memory on the Pen just says "VIDEO".4. With even doing recording inside my house and having sufficient lighting turned on, the Pen recordsvery well with nice video quality. The only thing I notice is the indoor videos seem to be darker than afew of my other Pen camera devices. Details in the video seem to be good, but the video looks darker.Have not tried outdoor recordings, but pretty sure videos will be much brighter in the Sun.5. It is easy to look at video recordings done by the Pen. Just unscrew the tip section of the Pen andplug the Pen into a USB port - I have a PC. Looking at the files stored in memory, there is one folderand one text file. The text file contains the time stamp line which can be edited. At the end of thetime stamp line either change it to Y or N for whether we want time stamp displayed or not.The folder will contain the recorded files. Each video file will be 5 min in length. I have found doingcontinuous recording, the Pen will only do 1 hour and 15 minutes long and have 15 video files.There is no sound or I have no idea the Pen has stopped recording. Seller says it is supposed to havebattery life to record 4 hours. There seems to be no way (setting) to make the Pen continuouslyrecord beyond about 1 hour and 15 minutes. I did not try to start recording again.Edit added: Note: Don't expect Go Pro video qualities. The quality of the Pen videos are good and thereis no video stability when moving the Pen around. Videos will be very jittery.6. Audio quality is good enough for me with the Pen. Not sure how far it will pick up sounds, haven't tested that yet. Also I hear some clicks and faint other sounds while recording. So it is not perfect andI am not fussy with the audio. I am mainly concerned about the video part of the device.7. Battery - There is no way to know how much battery life left on this Pen has when operating anddoing charging. Also have no idea how long it takes to get a full battery charge. I usually plug the Pensin and let them charge for a couple of hours. When Pen is plugged into the USB port I do see a bluelight on which I assume it is charging back up. When I see a dual red/blue color, I assume that tells methe Pen has been fully charged. With no instructions, I am guessing at this time. Pen gets warm whenin use, but not hot.All in all, the Pen works very well for me. It will replace one of my other Pens that does not have thesame quality of recording. I may get one more of these Pens to replace 2 older devices I have. If Ithink of anything else, I will edit the review. Take care.

After receiving the product for the first time it stopped working they were able to negotiate with me and send me another product after I tried to send it back and I do not understand how USPS lost the product. This company has the best customer service their product is fantastic well worth the cost.I had an initial problem which turned out to be a corrupted sd card not theirs but one i purchased they were so patient with this big dummy up to and including supplying me with a new camera .I would highly recommend ispyjohn strohm

The pen works great as a pen and a camera. Kat and Andrew in customer service were very helpful with all my inquires. Files copy from the pen to pc quickly. Good quality materials used, great battery life.

I have had 3 or 4 of these pens and usually end up giving them away. I use them in an inspection process to make sure I don’t miss anything. The last one I had broke, and Kat from iSpy gladly replaced it. Great customer service.

The ISPY Pen has exceptional video resolution in additional to capturing clear audio. I have tested the ISPY Pen in poor lighting as well as having a well lit room. I use this tool for my camera shy daughter who practice singing prior to her performances. With approximately a (4) hour recording capability, this unit is well priced and highly reliable.
