If you have issues, try rebooting your TV & pair the remote through Bluetooth settings
I thought my remote stopped working until I went to power my Sony KD-65X80K off from the TV & that wouldn’t even work. I unplugged my TV for 5 minutes to reboot & the remote began working instantly. In addition, we’ve not been able to use the Voice Control for the 2 months we’ve had this remote. However, while looking through other reviews, I learned you have to go into the Bluetooth settings & pair the remote to use all of its features rather than the basics.

This remote control is a perfect replacement
Worked right out of the box. Make sure you set up and read the directions. When you have to use the voice feature button, it has to be set up in Bluetooth and hitting a series of buttons on a remote control. Other than that, it works really good compared to the original remote control. I really don't see a difference except the feel of the buttons. You have to push a little harder than the original one but other than that for the money I buy two of them

Followed the manual to pair it up – the voice command works like magic!
Okay, real talk - I almost returned this remote because I swore it didn't have voice control. Like, where's the mic button right? But then I actually RTFM (read the freakin' manual, lol) and followed the pairing steps with my Sony Bravia. Holy cow, when that voice feature popped up? Mind. Blown. It's like having Siri for my TV - just yell 'find me Marvel movies' and bam, we're streaming! And can we talk about how this thing's basically a carbon copy of Sony's overpriced OEM remote? Same weight, same clicky buttons, even the back panel grooves match up perfectly. If I didn't know better, I'd think someone just peeled the Sony logo off at the factory. Seriously - save your cash and get this bad boy instead. Works like a charm and nobody'll know the difference!

Wellllll
So this is a knock off, which is what I was expecting. But there is a lag between the time the button is pressed and the TV responding to it. The instructions to pair aren't entirely correct. But being an advanced user I figured that out quick. Heres my big beef though, the TV says there's a software update for the remote. It fails, every time. And the message on the screen doesn't go away., Plus it says I need new batteries, the batteries are new and tested to be at 99% capacity. Returning product.

Works but buttons are hard to push.
Remote works without a problem except all of the buttons are noticeably harder to push than the factory remote. If you channel surf it gets annoying really fast.

Better than the OEM remote , Just pair it , you can get the voice funciton
Quick heads up: This remote skips the tank-like steel front of the Sony OEM and has no backlight. Saw some folks complaining about the Google Assistant range - turns out you need to manually pair via Bluetooth (comes pre-paired on IR only). PSA: For the same cash, grab a factory-refurbished Sony remote on Amazon. Those bad boys get extra testing and come looking brand-spankin'-new!Silver lining? This plastic clone works just like the original. Actually dig the YouTube button over the Bravia one. Just know you're trading durability for that sweet, sweet YouTube shortcut.

Voice feature doesn't work
Easy to pair right out of the box but the main reason I bought it is the voice feature, which didn't work.

Great as OEM remote replacement
Almost as good as my OEM one. I needed a backup because every time I stand up and go do something my dog grabs the remote like he's in charge! So this is my first line of defense against him ruining my OEM remote. And yes it works just as well as the original. Thank you so much!
