The media could not be loaded.  I have three guitars and it didn’t work at all on any of them. Instructions say uncoated strings need to be used, I’m not sure whether the strings I have are uncoated or not so I ordered some D’Addario uncoated strings to try. If that works I’ll update this review. If it doesn’t I will return this to Amazon

The media could not be loaded.  Playing guitar with the bow feels like playing an entirely different instrument. Before using the guitar bow, be sure to put rosin on the guitar strings evenly. Then the bow produces beautiful tunes. Be sure to clean the strings after use.

The first time I saw this guitar bow on Youtube, I was really impressed and decided to get my own one. I have been playing guitar for decades, this small piece guitar bow adds fun, innovative addition to the world of guitar sounds.It did not sound right at first as I have not used any bow before. Yet after practicing hours, I started figuring out the skills of the right angle and pressures to apply to get a good sound. Remember to put rosin on strings before using and clear the strings with the included cloth after use. Take a little bit practice. I hope to become more skilled at using it. It opens up for new creative ways to play the guitar.

The effect and sound that comes from my guitars are amazing. To prep the rosin block simply take a NEW -UNUSED green cleaning pad that is found in just about an kitchen stock pile cupboard and scuff the surface of the rosin block. Then, when you stroke the bow over the block. The sticky rosin transfers to the bow strings. This should also be done to the guitar strings. Do not rub or touch the bow hairs or strings that are then loaded with rosin. It's meant to be sticky and uniformed across the length of the bow. HAVE FUN CREATING!!
