I bought this hoping to use it on the stove as it says it could be used in the description above. Unlined solid iron teapots are supposed to impart a wonderful flavour to the tea. But the teapot is enamel lined and the packaging says it should not be used on the stove.

Super teapot for one. Absolutely love it and am enjoying using loose tea in it but have used t-bags which work as well. Easy to clean & keeps hot.

In the question and answers section it says:is this enamel lined?Answer:No it's all pre-seasoned cast iron.This is a blatant lie! On the box it clearly says that it is enamelled and also that it is not to be used on stoves! If you're wondering why it is because of what they are enamelled with (usually very toxic material such as lead) making this a completely worthless product.Sadly it is too late for me to return it, so future buyers watch out. Don't let the question and answers section fool you, it is NOT 100% cast iron, the box itself doesn't make such a claim

Brilliant. Tea tastes much better when using this teapot.

Très jolie théière, de bonne qualité malheureusement je suis déçue de ne pas avoir le repose théière comme indiqué dans le titre "Buckingham clouté-Capacité : 0,8 Litre-théière et théière en fonte d'inspiration japonaise avec repose-théière Noir"..
