This quickly became a favorite amongst our family to play with our three year old. He loves counting the numbers when he rolls and it works his fines motor skills by putting the sticks in. The grandparents all play with him when they visit. It also helps us get through dinners screen free when nothing else works.

Absolutely love this product! I am an occupational therapist and bought this to use at work. The kids love it and I can address multiple skills with it. This is an adorable game for young children. The pegs are small, so you’d want to follow the recommended 3+ age group. It’s so much fun though for young kids who don’t have the attention span for more involved and long-lasting board games. It’s a simple game with so many possibilities to combine learning and fun. It allows them to practice and reinforce counting and math skills. We’ve played it by just counting the pips on a single die or playing with both and adding them together. Playing with two dice makes the game go much quicker since you’re adding more pegs with each turn and filling the board more quickly. It’s a little advanced for my kids right now, but at some point, we’ll try subtracting one die from the other. The little pegs slide in easily and stay put until you remove them. The wood pieces, including the gameboard, are all smooth, nicely painted and very colorful.

My almost 3-year-old granddaughter loves to play games. She is really good at them too. This Hedgehog game will be a great gift for her and her family. The game board is made from a thick wood and painted with bright happy animals. I am very impressed with its quality my granddaughter can practice her counting skills as she plays this fun game with Grandma, Grandpa and her parents. Everyone wins with this game.
