First flown in March of 1994, the Eurofighter Tycoon was designed in cooperation by a number of NATO countries. The canard-delta-wing fighter, introduced in 2003, is in service with a number of European militaries including Britain, Italy, Germany, Spain, and Austria, in addition to Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. Its combat debut came in 2011 during the Libyan Intervention. Almost 500 have thus far been manufactured. Featuring striking tail artwork from the No. 29 Squadron, this 1/72 scale, die cast model is a limited edition reproduction of a Typhoon FGR. Mk. 4 as it appeared in 2014. It features engraved panel lines, an opening canopy, a well-equipped cockpit, a mask-wearing pilot figure, lifting canard wings, wing-mounted rockets and fuel tanks, optional-position landing gear, authentic markings, and detailed exhaust ports. Measures approximately 8¾" long with a 6" wingspan.
