Fun to use carefully, throwing will ruin it fast.
Tl;DRPros:Looks cool.Is easy to hold.Really fun to use for slicing cuts (better than most knives because of the curved edge of the blade).Cheap enough to almost be disposable if you decide to throw it.Cons:You got it super cheap, so stop complaining- there are practically no cons *for the price*.-------In depth explanation:Have to be careful with the paracord or the handle wrapping will come undone pretty fast- so be mindful of that.Otherwise, these work pretty much as expected. Is it the highest quality alloy steel?Haha, no. Not by a long shot. But you should already know that by looking at the price: this is an incredible value that you can use for fun, not a life-or-death piece of outdoor kit.So again, it does EXACTLY what you expect it to do, as long as you do not have high expectations.Have fun!

Upgraded to 5 stars, sheath still sucks.
Update: Had to upgrade to five Stars. This thing is really holding its own. used it to process some fallen branches from The Storm... works pretty good for $8. Throw it in a pack, and you'll be happy you have it.This thing has meat clever type vibes. I actually think it'd be better in a jungle/island environment where you're dealing with reeds and Vines more than hardwood. I tried throwing it a few times, it has a lot of bounce to it, it bounces back more than anything I've ever thrown, so be careful. It slips out of the bottom of the sheath, so I would not wear it on a belt. The sheath needs an extra rivet. But honestly, for $8 I think you'll be happy to have it. It's tough, and heavy for its size. It came very sharp.I included some pictures of it next to a sog fasthawk, and a Gerber prodigy, and a zippo (for size comparison). It's about the size of a medium sized fixed blade.I'm definitely going to keep it for day hikes, or maybe lite overnights.

Nice
Didn't expect to write a review for this but it's really impressive for the price. I was expecting a throw away piece of stainless junk that I'd probably give away at a yard sale or something. But it seems to be mild or composite steel. One solid piece and a decent sheath.

Very good
This is a pretty good little hatchet. Steel seems to be of a high grade. Sharp, well balenced, comfortable in the hand. Sheath is very good. Perfect for a back pack. A bottle opener is not much use in the field. But with a round file and a bit of work it makes a pretty good skinner. Might want to consider this

It might not cut through anything right out the package.
I don't know it's not a item I'm satisfied with it's sturdy nice whiegh, but I don't know about the size I was looking forward to much larger hand size hachet, and I'll have to sharpen it more if I choose to use this item but I'm the thinking 🤔 bout a refund

Survival
Bought as prizes for my youth group's Day at the Range. Here in Alaska something like this with the knowledge to use it could save your life. We are teaching our youth to survive.

nice light hatchet minor flaws
Solid little hatchet used it for 20 minutes and no rolls or chipping yet surprisingly!! so the heat treatment is done very well. the hollow grind is very good for chopping but that is 1 flaw of the axe is the edge bevel is uneven at the end and a bit too broad even though it has a VERY good apex it bites when you feel it, but is WAY TOO BROAD FOR A CHOPPER!! (about 48 degrees). the sheathe for mine needs to be glued so some of the stitching stays and the cordage is weak and i will replace it with paracord when it breaks, but for the price it is a 5/5 easy. Update: I filed the edge down longer and to 44 degrees now it cuts paper and can be used as a mini machete, also threw the garbage rope corsage away and tied mine with a sturdy Paracord handle lanyard combo. P.S. I wish it didn't have a useless beercan opener that stabs your hand if you hold the axe from the top.....
