Great value plus extra goodies
Thread embroidered out nicely. The cost per spool was terrific plus a free carrying case, color chart, fabric marker, measuring tape, bobbins and thread covers. Great deal. I’m impressed. The case is a supple plastic but arrived in perfect condition (my feeling is it might not last long term). Very happy with purchase.

nice quality thread, good color selection
I have had some issues in the past with my embroidery machine, but I have been getting better. I would often get broken threads or something else happen in the middle of stitching a design, but since I've been using this thread, I haven't had any issues. I'm sure a big part of that is just my experience has grown and I know how to get it setup better, but I'm sure the thread quality also is just better with this thread than what I was using in the past. This set comes in a box that's on the flimsy side, but I'm usually gentle with things, so I don't see that being a problem for me. It has two layers that can be interchanged top and bottom and the lid will fit on top. The thread spools are just jumbled into the openings in the box with 4 spools in each opening. There is also some pieces of stabilizer, a marking pen, measuring tape, small curved scissors, some empty bobbins and one white and one black prewound bobbins, some little nets to put over the thread spools to help them not unravel. And two of the spools are also bobbin thread -- one white and one black. The thread spools were easy to find the thread end, just like it said. I was able to pick my colors and just get started immediately. And my design turned out nice. My attached photo was before I trimmed the threads.

Not as pictured
Picture very deceiving case will not hold spools as pictured. Case has dividers but nothing to hold them upright. Comes thrown in as in previous reviews.

This is such a fun collection of threads.
The thread collection comes in two trays that clip together to form a handled plastic storage box. The listing says the storage box has pins to hold each spool, but my box doesn’t have them. Instead, it comes with dividers so that each tray can be divided into 10 sections. Four spools come in each section, but there’s not room for them to stand. It’s not the best quality storage box I’ve ever seen or owned, but it’s still a nice addition and quite handy. The threads are rich in color and have a high shine. As stated, it’s very easy to find the end of the thread. The thread is wound on a basic molded plastic spool and it doesn’t have the flip down base to lock in the thread tail. They’ve included a few nets, but there are only enough for 8 spools, so you’d need to buy more or come up with another plan to keep the spools from unraveling. The spools are all clearly marked with color numbers and there’s also a handy chart included that lists all the colors and their corresponding numbers. On the reverse is a conversion chart for three other thread brands. With 80 individual colors, this would make a great starter kit for someone who is new to embroidery. The seller generously includes 7 bobbins; two of which are preloaded with black and white thread. In addition, they also include a few spool nets, a small pair of curved scissors, a sample piece of stabilizer, a tape measure and a water-soluble fabric marking pen. Pretty much everything except the embroidery machine!

Almost GREAT, but .....
It was great getting 80 colors of poly embroidery thread! The 2-tier stacking storage storage was a nice idea. HOWEVER -- the item description and photos lead you to think the bins have posts to hold the spools upright, when in fact they don't. Instead, there are plastic compartment dividers ... so what arrives is a jumbled mess of spools. You could remove the dividers, but then you'd really have chaos!I tried arranging them in an up-down pattern, which is a little better I think. Next I'll organize them by color groups ... not sure what else to do. Wish there were posts as advertised! :-(You do get some extras: little scissors, tape measure, marking pen, 5 thread nets, 7 plastic bobbins (2 pre-filled with b/w thread), and a nice color chart.80 spools at this price is a great purchase, especially for someone new to machine embroidery trying to build a collection of colors. I just wish the storage system was better -- deducted one star for that reason.see pics...
