Great starter book will occupy you for hours

I agree with the other reviewers.Ken Ken is a puzzle type most suited to teach children mathematics, although admittedly for this it would be very good. However, they are simply not challenging enough nor diverse to occupy most serious mumber puzzle enthusiasts for long. Most puzzles can be solved in 5 to 10 minutes, just enough to last a couple of underground stops only!The book is well-produced and at £4 is good value for money, if this is what you are looking for.

I bought it for her in-doors because she likes doing the puzzles. Plus it keeps her quiet and out of my hair. Peace at last.... thanks Conceptis... I can read my comics now.. I bought 7 of these books so having to give my view for each is a bit stupid.. should be able to lump them altogether.

This is my first experience of KenKen. I started with ordinary sudokus (The Times Series) then gradually got bored and moved on to Killer sudokus (Times Series again). KenKen's idea appears to be interesting to start with but puzzles got too simple after a while. May be 6x6 is not enough but that's all Ken Ken book 1 is offering. How about 8x8 or 9x9 KK's? May be I need to buy more Kenken books or go back to Killers.I think Kenken is more suitable to children.

El Kenken es parecido al famoso juego sudoku, pero se le añade un poco más de desafío.Hay que rellenar una cuadrícula de n x n cuadros con números del 1 hasta el n sin que se repita ninguno ni en filas ni en columnas.Además, dentro de la cuadrícula existen regiones que deben cumplir cierta condición aritmética dada por un número y una operador aritmético (suma, resta, multiplicación o división).Por ejemplo si en una región pone 8+,los números de esa región deben sumar 8. Fácil ¿no?. No hay que ser un experto en matemáticas.

ce livre contient plus de 100 grilles progressives de kenken de niveaux 3*3 à 6*6 cases (+-*/) ce qui permet de s'entrainer et de bien progresser au kenken car si il est assez aisé de remplir des grille de 3 à 5 cases, lorsque l'on passe a 6*6 cela devient beaucoup plus difficiles vu le nombre de possibilités existante à ce niveau et demande beaucoup plus de réflexion
