I love Birkenstocks but have experienced problems with buying fakes online recently.These have gone up in price since I last bought them, which is disappointing, however they are still great value for money.I wear them as slippers at home and also they are great to wear to the beach and, in these days when we are all concerened about viruses and hygeine, it is reassuring that they can be washed without damaging them.I have very hypermobile feet and ankles and I bought the Arizona model as the Gizeh, my usual beach wear Birkenstocks, were out of stock in my size. I used to carry the Gizeh's to the beach in my bag, however these are chunkier, heavier and take up more space, so in my last trip to the beach I wore them there and back as well.I was conerned that I might end up with sore feet or ankles, especially carrying heavy bags with towels and beach stuff, but these were more comfortable than my leather Birkenstocks. The cushioning is comfy for my feet without being too destabilising and the arch support is, as always, very helpful for hurty feet, ankles and hips.I will see how long they last and may update the review if they break or wear down soon but so far I am massively impressed with these.edited to addThe sides of the soles have worn down to the extent that I can no longer wear these without my knees hurting. I still think that these are good value as I have worn them walking long distances with a heavy rusksack on my back for 3 months. This is better value than wearing out regular, suede footbed Birkenstocks and exposing them to salt and sand, also my feet, hips and knees are much more comfortable. Yesterday I wore regular Birkenstocks for my walk and now my knees hurt. I will keep my other Birkenstocks for less demanding walking with lighter loads. If, like me, you are hypermobile and like to walk a lot over beaches, off road paths and through nature with a heavy rucksack these are a great option.

Fabulous once adjusted the straps, look a few days to mould but now they are 'worn in' very comfortable and hugely practical. Worth the price! Traveled around Bnagkok and Phuket for 2 weeks and still look new!Very pleased.

Very very nice. I had a pair years ago and they eventually fell apart. Easy to clean. Nice material. Super comfortable. A great buy.

I have just received my birkenstocks. I can confirm that these are not 'leather' as advertised however they are the birkenstock alternative 'Birkoflor' which is disappointing although I have decided to keep them. They are still cheaper than what I could have got from anywhere else by 15 + pounds. They were delivered much quicker than expected which I was a nice surprise. I got them 4 days earlier than expected and I chose free delivery. On first impressions they are a nice fit. I recommend trying some on in store just to make sure of size as I am normally a 42 eu but I fit a 41 birkenstock. I think these will be a nice shoe to wear around the house year round and to wear out through summer. They are definitely legitimate birkenstocks so if you want non-leather Birks at a great price, pick some up.

Good choice of styles and once you get the right size very comfortable. Recommend ordering a size less as big made. I ordered a 10.5 first but they were massive. Retuned (at a cost although it says free) and got a 9.5 which is perfect.Be ideal for holidays shortly....

I'm a UK 12 and worked out I would probably need a 44 or a 45 in these from the reviews. Took a gamble on 44 and as it happens whilst they were being shipped to me I got a chance to try some on in a shoe shop. The 45 was too big and the 44 was just about right. I think in an ideal world i would want a 44.5 but they dont do that size. They arrived today and the 44 is the same size as the 44 I tried on in the store. My feet stay within the sandal well without touching the surrounding bits that rise, just. 45 would have been another 5mm longer and would have been too big. I understand that as the cork squishes a little more room will be freed up. I think my feet are an average width, never notice probs with regular shoes so went with M and when tightening the buckles I am one notch from the narrowest. Therefore i could have probably got away with N but certainly now W. That said where my feet sit they are comfy so N may have been too tight.What else is there to say? they are good looking and although stiff now I know will soften up. Nice quality pair of sandals that were £44 in high street.So for sizing. I would guess UK men 9-10=42, 10-11=43, 11-12=44.. something like that.

I ordered a size 7 after reading reviews of it being too large and I can confirm it was a good decision as I am usually size 8.5-9.The initial feel is that they are too hard and not very comfortable, but they mould quite nicely onto the shape of your foot in about a week or two. I used them for two weeks while on Holiday and walked great distances and even climbed a mountain which was over 2200 meters above sea level.I now wear them around the house and can't wear normal slippers as these just feel so natural and comfortable. They also provide support for your the arch of your foot which is a great bonus.The only negative thing is that the right slipper, at times left me in a lot of pain while walking during the first few days as my feet and shoe were not accustomed to each other yet. When that happened, I just loosened the straps a little so it wouldn't fit so snug. Pain went away after a day or two and it felt great after.Definitely worth it and would definitely buy again.

I have worn Arizona Birkenstocks for years and always find them comfortable, with no need for a break-in period.
