Good quality for the price if you follow proper care
I have purchased several pillow cases from amazon that are described as “silk” that were not actually silk and washed terribly. I did not have high expectation, but I also just won’t pay $70+ for one pillow case. This pizon mulberry silk (bought graphite) is great. I have had it for several months and have washed it as well without issue. I will say for people considering this type of pillow case (silk or satin) and to address some poor reviews about washing that there are very particular care instructions for this fabric. I wash mine folded in a garment bag (the small one for bras that I got at the dollar store), in cold water, on delicate and hang to dry. If you don’t do this, you will be very disappointed when you pull out a pillowcase that looks nothing like the one you put in. The silkiness will disappear and you will be left with what looks like a standard cotton pillow case, albeit softer.

Great for the price!
I digg these pillow cases. The color looks a bit different on my pictures but it’s the true color from the picture. Also it says to wash by hand, I wash them weekly on delicate cycle inside out and tuble dry low for about 10 min. The queen pillowcases fit a bit big on my pillow (I would measure my pillow before purchasing again) but after the first wash and tumble dry they shrunk a bit and now fit well on my pillow. It worked out just great; I bought 2. Also they are not hot at night and don’t give me a frizzy bed head.

Beautiful Silk Charmeuse
Excellent quality - well constructed (I sew, I know good work when I see it). It fits a standard-size pillow exactly. I couldn't be happier with these. There is no mistaking good quality silk - I was pleasantly surprised at the weight of it. I haven't yet had occasion to launder it but from prior experience with fabric of this type, I'm not expecting any nasty surprises. If you're unfamiliar with the name of the fabric, it is a satin-type weave. Just gorgeous.

Surprisingly disappointed
I bought 3 brands of the same pillow, this one came in last place, felt more like satin as oppose to silk. Good for quality if it is satin but disappointed because description says silk. This was not as soft as the other two I purchased. I did like that it had a zipper but overall the material is thin and felt like when I was putting the pillow in it was going to tear.

Roughest silk I've ever felt, and 1 zipper broke almost immediately
I bought 2 of these during a sale in 2018. The zipper broke on one on only the second usage. I've barely used the second one because I don't like it much, so I can't really attest to its durability. This is the roughest silk I've ever felt, and I have several Mulberry silk pillowcases (and several poly satin, and yes, I know the difference). My hair is less tangled than with cotton, but more tangled than with any of my other silk or satin pillowcases. I can't recommend it and wish I'd just returned both. I'm surprised to see so many good reviews, especially considering that the price when not on sale is pretty high for such low quality silk. Maybe they have changed the material since 2018?

Unsure on the beauty claims, but get it just because it feels super awesome to sleep on :)
So far so good! I've been using it for about a week now and haven't had any problems with oil being absorbed. Is my skin amazingly better and my hair infinitely smoother? Meh, not so sure about the claims for being good for hair and skin, but I do feel that my hair IS just at least a little less frizzy and honestly it just feels super nice and smooth to sleep on if for nothing else.

This is charmuse, satin
I was disappointed to find this is not what I would call a true silk. This is more of a satin, like so many that are referred to as silk. My last one was from Dreamsack but they no longer sell only the pillowcases. I'll use it until I can find the finer silk.

Treat yourself!
These are lovely! Nice quality - cool to the touch and as soft and smooth as - well - silk!! No satin here - these are the real deal. Since you spend nearly a third of your life or so sleeping it totally makes sense to make your bedroom and bed a top priority!! These beautiful pillowcases make you feel like royalty; treat yourself! You'll be happy with these.

My Satin Cases Better for Bed Head!
These seem like decent quality silk but they are very thin. I do like the zipper detail so my pillows don't slide out. I wash them in mesh bags on cold, hand wash cycle in my washing machine and hang to dry and it seems fine. That's how I took care of my previous silk pillowcases which lasted me well over 10 years. I'm hoping these will last as long. The only thing is, I find that i wake up with lines on my face and pretty wild hair with these cases which kind of defeats the purpose of spending the extra bucks on them, as I'm getting the same results with cheap satin pillowcases that i used after my old silk cases fell apart. I will keep them though because satin doesn't allow your skin to breathe and silk does. I actually sized up because a. They were cheaper than standard size at the time and b. I figured the less tension on the cases, the longer they will last.Update: June 7. The bed head continued every morning when I woke up. Had to flat iron my hair everyday because of it (I don't wash my hair everyday) , this defeated the purpose. Thought it might have been my haircut but when I went back to my cheap satin pillowcases I no longer woke up with crazy hair.

Don't see the point
Pretty disappointed with this. My daughter's hair gets really tangled while she sleeps and a silk pillowcase was recommended. This did practically nothing to help with the tangles in her hair. We've been washing inside out and on delicate with cold water and hanging to dry, and it comes out wrinkled and takes a few days to settle again. It also somehow stained really badly from a hot pink bathing suit, and my tried and true stain removing techniques are not doing anything to correct this.

Happy with this pillow case
I always used cotton pillow cases before, now I'm addicted to this one. Soft and I find I don't sweat as much as when I used cotton pillow cases. I use a pillow protector underneath for extra pillow protection and it still fits my pillow nicely. I will be buying another one once the price goes back down to what I paid for my first one. For some reason the price has gone up since I bought mine.

Great material
I wasn't sure if the fabric was going to be too thin and therefore not last long before it ripped but it's great! And the price difference between this and a store is crazy. Sephora sells silk pillowcases for $100 dollars, sleepy country $60 and I got it here for much less.

Very luxurious pillow case
Just received mine. Ordered 2 and both received. Beautiful pillow cases. They are very smooth and comfortable and do stayFairly cool. They don’t slide around the bed and my hair isn’t such a mess in the morning when sleeping with these cases. Husband says he really likes them too!
