I love this! It seems to be very accurate. It is simple to use and gives me the security I need to feel comfortable driving after a couple glasses of wine. It is also good for my husband who always says he is "fine to drive." Using this has let us know that he isn't "fine to drive." Even if he thinks he is. This could potentially save us a lot of money by not getting a DUI. I am so happy we bought this!!

At first it seems like the product worked. But then we did a test that was very reliable. Basically a person that could drink drink a decent substantial amount we obeyed all the correct procedures and waiting 15 minutes after the last drink in the mouth and every time it was a different reading. Don't buy

I like that it's rechargeable. It came with a charge and I was messing with the features and didn't realize that there is a countdown to the number of times it can be used. It starts with 2500, and every time the top cap is flipped the number goes down, whether it is actually used or not. That doesn't make me thrilled, but it is still a lot of uses. I'm not sure why it would need to have a countdown on a device that is rechargeable.As far as accuracy, we have no idea if it's accurate or not. We got this just to have for fun at friend gatherings. It's nice that there are 20 mouth pieces, although we never have more than a few people together at a time.

This breathalyzer comes in a nice little carrying case, but the rest of it isn’t quite as nice. After a beer one night, I thought I would give it a try and got what looked like very bizarre results. Turns out that even though it is supposed to default to the US setting out of the package, it was set to Russian settings. It went from 1.6 to 1.0 to .4 back up to .6. All within a course of 10 minutes. After I fixed the setting, the next night after one beer, I waited 15 minutes and got a .05. I waited another 10 minutes and went down to .04. I looked at some charts and it probably should’ve read at max .03 but more likely .02. So it’s reading on the high side.The manual says you are supposed to wait 20 minutes after eating or drinking anything to take a reading because of latent alcohol in your breath or windpipe. But this just doesn’t seem practical in a real world situation, particularly if you’re trying to convince a friend to take a cab home after drinking too much. “Hey buddy, just sit down for 20 minutes and we’ll see what it reads.” Not gonna work too effectively.The other issue is that when the battery was at 2/3, you can barely see the LCD when you’re looking at it straight or from above. You have to look at it from an upward angle.

I have a cheaper one that is more accurate

Did a test after a drink and it did register. Not sure about the accuracy of it.

Great device to have at parties to deter people from driving home and they are drunker than I think works well
