Great for Oily Hair
As someone who's hair turns into the United States' next military target after only a day, this has worked perfectly to rid my locks of the godforsaken oil buildup I've had to deal with for years

Really helps oily hair
The shampoo i used for years was making my scalp itch worse. I found this one it helps the oily scalp with the dandruff too. I don’t wash my hair everyday so it doesn’t end up dried out. The scent isn’t my favorite but it doesn’t bother my allergy to perfume. I was glad to see it came in a bigger size bottle. It is a bit expensive but not having oily scalp that itches all the time it’s not totally prohibitive,

I don’t think there are any other scents for this product but it makes you think theee are
These tricked me. I always use this shampoo but I saw this one and it said currant scented so I thought it was a new scent and that’s why it was more expensive than I had been buying it for. It’s the same tea tree shampoo I’ve been using. I payed more for the same thing I always get.Update: that reached out to me and refunded me for the shampoo. I appreciate the attention and thoughtfulness they extended. I do love this shampoo. It keeps my scalp clear and definitely degreases it.

36 years old, fine hair that's oily and itchy, thank goodness I found Maple Holistics
I actually thought this would be just another gimmick. I have fine oily hair but recently due to another hair product line, I started having an itchy scalp. so itchy that I actually booked an appointment with my primary doctor thinking I had lice! My doctor told me that there was a resistant strand of live going around and referred me to an actual lice professional. Which I didn't even know excited. I just knew when she took one look at my scalp she was going to say....yep you've got lice. However, she told me what she saw was obviously allot of inflammation and she could see places where I had scratched so hard that I had scabs. So she then referred me to a dermatologist. Well I had enough of referrals, some might disagree with my decision to not see a dermatologist and that's okay but I decided to do some investigating on my own. I looked up reasons for why my scalp could be doing this. From my hard water, to products with sulfate, to allergies, to hormonal imbalance, to hair coloring, to my PH being off, to the medicine I take and to what and how I eat. The one thing I noticed on all these sites were they suggested to start with a gentle sulfate free shampoo, the more free of chemicals the better. Which lead me to searching for the top rated, voted, preferred shampoo and conditioner I could find and every site had this product showing as the most preferred. So this is my 3rd week using it. The itching is almost a thing of the past. I went from waking up in the middle of the night and taking my nails and scratching as hard as I can. Running to the bathroom at work just to scratch my head. Looking at my watch when I had appointments with my customers, not really listening to what they were saying. All I could think of is I cannot wait to get in the car and scratch my scalp......to now maybe sn average of 3 times a day I might have sn itchy place on my scalp that I can scratch once and the itch is gone. The oil that I used to produce, had me wanting to wash my hair everyday, I wouldn't bc that's not good for your hair but I sure as heck would want to bc the 2nd day for me would look like a week for others (gross). Now I can go 2 days and my hair still looks clean and fresh. I could probably go a 3rd day but I haven't tried that yet.Now for those who have oily scalp but dry brittle hair, don't worry you can use this bc the product is gentle. Yes it cleans. However, it does not strip and we all know the difference. I also have not felt the need to put other products in my hair like mousse or volumizer or hairspray. Not that I did that much in the first place but I found that my hair looks gorgeous without it. Also, I use the Argan Conditioner with this based on me going to the sellers website and it showed that they recommend this shampoo and conditioner together. I like the conditioner and I will continue to use it as well bc I believe that pairing the two could give me the best results, just my opinion. However, I love....no not love....I AM OBSESSED WITH MAPLE HOLISTICS DEGREASE SHAMPOO! I hope my review helps others to give it a try and not just for a couple of days, to those impatient brothers and sisters of mine who are like me. Actually give it a real whole hearted try. Then I would say after a month if it doesn't work for you then at least you truly know if it worked for you or not. I hope all my Amazon peeps have a blessed day.

Gets my hair squeaky clean, but there's still grease.
To give a little background on my hair first: ever since puberty hit, I've had very oily hair. I HAVE to wash my hair everyday. Within 24 hours, my hair is all oily and gross. I've tried maybe a few different kinds of shampoo in the hopes of fixing it, but they were all drying type of shampoos that think if you strip your hair of all oils that it goes away, and it just makes it worst.Anyway, on to the review: I bought this shampoo around 2 weeks ago or so. It is summer here, in NC, and I also live near the coast, so the humidity is horrible. I sweat a lot, and when I wipe my face, it tends to get in my hair, which overtime gives the effect of greasy hair. That being said, I obviously haven't tried this shampoo out when I'm not sweating a lot, so that may have some effect on how it's working with my oil issues. It doesn't or hasn't so far, made me be able to go a second day without washing my hair. As I sit here and type this, my hair is all oily and gross, but I washed my hair at 5:30 am yesterday morning, and I did sweat a lot yesterday.I will say, however that it does get your hair squeaky clean. You can hear it squeak in the shower. I have hair down to my elbows and you only need a quarter sized amount to wash your hair. You only need to wash your scalp, not the rest of your hair. Everytime I get in the shower and squirt the quarter sized amount in my hair, I always think "I need more." I just take a little on my finger tips and start massaging it on various parts of my hair. I scrub the back of my head towards my neck, cause it gets really itchy if I don't wash it everyday. This shampoo lathers so good.I read another review on here about how a lady who had horrible cystic acne would use it as face wash as well. I've been doing that too, seeing as how I have an oily face too. It hasn't changed anything with that yet either, except that if I do have any acne come up, it heals it a lot faster.I mainly got this shampoo because it is silicone and sulfate free. I saw a girl on youtube talk about how silicone weighs your hair down and essentially creates frizz. I have frizzy curly hair, and wanted to see if it helped. I haven't been able to wear my hair down yet straight from the shower to see if it helps, but I can see a difference when I take my hair down in the mornings before I wash it.I follow this shampoo with the Silk 18, and I will say this: the conditioner smells amazing. I tell my friends that it smells like the good vanilla, not the nasty car air freshener vanilla.I'm thinking that maybe I just need to wait until fall/autumn is here, when I don't sweat as much, and I've really had the chance to see if it works like it's supposed to, maybe my sebaceous gland needs more repair than normal? I don't know. I will update in a few months or so and give you the low down on it then too.
