Great product and superb customer service
I have now examined and worn both the Serenity Bruxism Night Sleep Aid and the Snore Eliminator Pro 2.0Professional Bruxism Night Guard Sleep Aid units from Snore Eliminator. They are both as advertised and both work for me. I purchased the Serenity to see if it could eliminate cheek biting that was occurring at night. The biting was the result of a botched dental procedure that was done after being fitted with a very expensive (~$2,000, by prescription only) jaw positioner for sleep apnea. The dental work left me with super sharp molars on both sides that catch my cheek when eating or speaking and turned the inside of my cheeks into a raw mess that was so swollen that I would also bite my cheeks in my sleep. I was at my wit’s end when I discovered the Serenity unit. The instructions on how to shape it (boil and bite) were clear, and once shaped it worked well to eliminate the nocturnal cheek biting and it helped with my sleep apnea too. Unfortunately, I tried to reshape it twice more to achieve a “perfect” fit and totally destroyed it in the process. That is when I contacted the seller and the world became a brighter place. The Snore Eliminator company sent me a replacement for the Serenity unit and also sent me a more advanced, adjustable Snore Eliminator Pro 2.0 unit, both free of charge. I tried out the Snore Eliminator Pro 2.0 immediately and it was like a dream come true. It not only stopped the nocturnal cheek biting, but also addressed my sleep apnea issues better than the custom-made $2,000 dental device that started all the problems in the first place! Yes, I will need to replace the Snore Eliminator Pro 2.0 unit a few times a year, but at ~$50 the Snore Eliminator Pro 2.0 is only about 1/40 the cost of the custom-made jaw positioner, which has an expected lifetime of only three years. Do the math and the savings with the Snore Eliminator Pro 2.0 is just – well - jaw dropping! Plus, it eliminates nocturnal cheek biting and works as well or better than the custom-made unit for my sleep apnea. BOTTOM LINE: Both units work as advertised and are tremendously good value. I will be a customer for life!

Comfortable mouthpiece
I bought this mouthpiece primarily to reduce my snoring noise. I am a loud snorer and it affects my husband who is a light sleeper. Instructions for the mouthpiece is very clear and easy to follow. The first two nights were the most uncomfortable for me as I adjust to sleeping with the mouthpiece. After that, I adjusted to it fairly quickly and was able to sleep through the night with it. Overall, I would say the mouthpiece is very comfortable. It can also be trimmed to fit my mouth better. It worked well for a few nights but my husband told me he can still hear my snoring after a while. Although it did not stop me from snoring entirely, it does give my husband a short reprieve from my loud snoring during the night.

Followed instructions, couldn't close my lips.
Followed the instructions exactly as written, and the resulting mouth guard jutted forward in the center so severely that I couldn't close my lips. Since it's not refundable, that's $20 down the drain.

Relationship Saver!
After tracking my sleep for a few days with a popular Snore App I was shocked to see and hear the evidence that I was a HORRIBLE snoring machine. Extremely loud bursts and constantly throughout the night. Over a week I averaged just under 7 hours of sleep with 80-90% of the time being filled with snoring. My poor wife couldn't have had any restful nights. I am sure this has gone on for years. So I started to review products and kept coming back to the Serenity mouthpiece. My theory was that if I spent $20 and it didn't work I could move onto a more expensive alternative. The concept is simple and the product is well designed. After a few tries at getting it molded correctly I was ready for my first night of hopeful restful sleep as was my wife. In a word, AMAZING! To give you an idea my "number" on the snore app was typically between 85-95. My first night with the Serenity mouthpiece that number went to 23. Since I have had nights as low as 3 with an average of about 20. What remains is considered "quiet" with no more loud or epic sounds throughout the night. My wife is thrilled and is finally getting her much needed rest.Ok so the product itself is a fairly comfortable piece of silicone that is relatively easy to mold with lightly boiling water. I think for anyone trying this device you will need to practice at setting the lower jaw position a few times to get it right for your particular dimensions. Definitely keep the hard plastic hold in the mold while biting down otherwise the breathing hole can close up. I see a lot of folks enlarging the hole slightly to get better air flow and I can see this as being advantageous. It does take a little to get used to sleeping with it and I tend to have more saliva than usual but it is a minor issue in return for the peaceful sleep. Also your jaw will probably feel a little tired in the morning and slightly out of place due to the product moving your lower jaw just slightly forward. You get used to this pretty quickly so don't let it deter you from a great product. There are other similar products out there that cost a lot more and I can't see why you would buy them knowing this product works, is simple, and very affordable. I can't recommend this enough.
