Yes! It's made in China and Yes! It authentic and REAL ceramic. This is exactly what i need when it comes to "China made":). I have to admit I was impatient and doubtful to this item for taking a few weeks to arrived. But it's all worth it. The jar is very elegant, well made ceramic. Hand made authentic jar. It looks more elegant in person.Seller even included a ceramic cup and placemat that compliments of it looks. We bought it as replacement to our rice dispenser. It seals the ring opening, its quiet and the opening are big enough that no need to worry of scooping the rice In/Out. I HIGHLY recommended this item. Also i have mention the seller was very patient.
