Upon receipt, the plastic housing seemed sturdy enough, but the wire gauge is very thin. The wire placement was sloppy, but we were able to coax them into the proper channels. The exposed open sockets were another concern. I went through the calculations and the amperage is low due to the 25 watt restriction per bulb so the wire gauge may be OK, but the risk of a house fire is a high bar to pass, so we decided to not use the device and will write it off as a bad impulse purchase. The wattage label is on the side away from where the bulbs screw in, so be sure everyone in your household is aware of the wattage restriction so a larger bulb isn't accidentally used. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great concept, suspect quality control. *by G***D on Reviewed in the United States on December 30, 2018* THE GOOD: This is an ingenious solution for adding more usable light to single socket porcelain bulb holders. I’m running $1 9 watt LED’s from Dollar Tree in mine. Each unit has 7 x 9w = 63 total watts, well below my base’s max rating of 100w.They really fill my garage with usable light. And economical too: 7 socket unit is $10, plus 7 LED’s comes out to $17 per unit.THE BAD: Unfortunately one unit has a defective center socket. A huge disappointment because it doesn’t match my other units.
