Great book for collection Brit books great to deal with thanks guys.

I remember these books from when I was a kid going to the Lake District with my family. I haven't climbed a mountain for about 30 years but reading this book makes me want to! I love the size of it - smaller than a 'normal' book - the neatness of the drawings and text, the comprehensiveness of the content, the thoroughness of the coverage and the light-hearted way the fells are described.The updating of the paths to red ink I think adds to the new edition. It's very easy to follow on the page.Even if it's a couple more years before I make it to the Lakes, I'll still enjoy planning my trip from these books.

These books are always a joy to read. Even if you are not a walker. Pictures are interesting and the walks are detailed. My husband, who is the walker has several of these books. Use alongside maps for the full walking experience.
