Condensate Pump, 1/20 HP, 115V, 1.6A, 128W

Great pump.

The media could not be loaded.  My 16 years old Hartell KT3X-1UL gave up (the case cracked, motor is still working) and I decided to replace it with another Hartell pump. This device was pretty much a direct replacement (in terms of specs and mounting points). I saw a couple negative feedbacks about cracked output nozzle port, but I hoped it is just bad luck of those customers. NOPE. I received the first pump and instantly noticed the very same crack on my unit. I've still tested it and yep, it leaks like crazy through that crack.I instantly opened the replacement case on Amazon and pretty quickly received the second unit. And guess what? IT IS CRACKED AS WELL!!!! This unit is not the cheapest one on the market, it is about 2-3 times more expensive than competitors and the quality and quality control is just non-existent.Now I will return all of this junk back, I recommend NOT TO buy it. I am going to fix my old pump (some epoxy will do).

I cant even give it one star, but had to in order to submit. Received the first unit promptly, as promised. Connected the pump to my furnace and walked away, until the next day there was water all over the floor. It took me a while to figure out that the output nozzle that connects to the base had been over tightened, causing the base threads to crack. The company immediately issued an RMA and sent me a replacement, which I had within two days. On opening the box, I saw the output nozzle and other plastic floating around in the box.This is hard to understand, as our original unit lasted 18 years!!!

If you live in Florida, only get this. I got one of the popular brands that are 1/3 the cost and it was going off every ten minutes because of the size of the reservoir and didn’t feel it going to last as long. The smaller ones are quieter but don’t seem as tough and strong as these. I had this one for over ten years but didn’t like the noise and the new one was quieter but it was going off 6x as often so it was getting annoying. I put this one back in.

After I installed the first one, during my test, I found the barded check valve (outlet) leaks. I inspected and found there is a crack there. I requested a replacement and received the second one today. Before installation, I visually inspected the pump and immediately found a crack on the outlet valve too. Please see the picture.This time, Amazon does not give me the replacement option anymore.I could not understand why the quality of this product is so bad!!!!!To save time, please avoid using this pump.

I installed this pump in a basement mechanical room. It works but every time it goes on it makes an unreasonable amount of noise which can be heard from upstairs. I did a lot of work to create a nice installation and 'll have to replace it.

output valve housing should be metal or at least have a metal sleeve had to put a hose clamp on it to stop the straying water...should have returned it but really needed it
