Erenberg Tarot Review: Well presented deck - A Beautifully illustrated tarot deck with subtle but dramatic colouring, capturing the mood and energy of each card. Lovely to shuffle and cards have a matte finish with very durable cardstock. Certainly an unusual deck and very easy to work with. A nice little guidebook accompanies the deck with well laid out meanings. A great addition and well worth it. Review: Quality deck / fun images - My New Year's Resolution to NOT buy any more tarot decks has failed spectacularly!! I think I've bought 3 or 4 new decks since January 1st! I had never heard of the Erenberg Tarot, but the images caught my eye because of their unique perspective. Each card is a close-up of part of a face, hands, or some element from a Rider-Waite-Smith card that represents that card in a standard deck. For example, the Five of Pentacles zooms in on a bandaged leg, with a hand walking with a cane in the snow (with a church in the background). The Six of Pentacles shows hands held up, with coins falling into the hands. Some cards are easily identifiable - the Sun, Moon, and Star are just literally those images filling the whole card. Others are more vague but all have the card's name along the bottom so you know what you're looking at. The card stock is a bit above average. It's thick enough not to bend easily, and is very smooth so overhand shuffling is delightful! And the cards are very flat, unlike some decks that have an annoying curve or slight bend to them. These cards just look and feel very pleasurable. The booklet is more than a cheap white booklet too. It's 76 pages with a nice cover. Each card has a brief description and then keywords for both upright and reversed. And finally, the box the cards and booklet come in is a 2-piece box (base and lid), nicely decorated and sturdy. This is a fun deck that I'm happy to add to my collection and I look forward to doing readings with it to see what it has to say!

Such a beautiful tarot deck! I’m the first review!
How awesome to be the first review on this gorgeous tarot deck! So I am a fellow tarot reader, and this follows the RWS. The cards are zoomed in pictures of the classic RWS with their own artistic view and art. The card stock is very easy to shuffle. Has a semi gloss to it, but it has that slippery feel to them, so also going to be easy to riffle shuffle! The cards themselves are of good quality, so you know they’re going to hold up well with extensive use. I have waited very long for this deck to come out ever since it became known on Amazon! I connected with them so well! This would be a great tarot deck for anyone who is a semi-beginner to intermediate reader. I am in love and love this artist very much on their art! Highly recommend!

LOVE these!
This is a must have for tarot collectors, definitely a unique deck to add to the collection. The eyes... they add so much depth

Creative look at the traditional RWS Tarot System
This is a fun mass market deck. It essentially takes the traditional Pamela Coleman Smith illustrations and focuses on one element (usually part of the face but like for the Hermit, it's their lantern.) I don't think this is a deck for beginners. It's more a supplemental deck for people who are familiar with the Rider Waite Smith system and just want a different deck. The card stock is basic mass market Tarot card stock. Easy to shuffle but nothing special. My only knocks are the lack of diversity (and some might argue that since this is based so much on the RWS artwork that's why) and that some of the depictions are VERY stereotypical. Like the Magician is a very stereotypical Magician's hat. The Nine of Cups looks like the hat of a stereotypical Genie. Similar with the Devil and the Fool. The Sun, Moon and Star are literally very child-like images of a face on those a sun, moon and star. But small quibbles based on the price. I'm happy to have it in my collection. Also if you have the Out of Hand indie tarot deck, you might like this one as well since it's a similar concept even though the art work is VASTLY different.

A great deck and a wonderful texture and Exquisite artwork.
The artwork is calming, soothing. The colouring is apparently done with art pencils for smooth shading. No jarring colours are used. Peaceful! I hope a smaller pocketsize deck is in the works and if it came in a tin box, I would purchase multiple decks for use in my purse, suitcase, and bed night stand for quick questions answered in the middle of the night. I only wish that there were a few less "Eye" cards. All in all, a great purchase that speaks to me in a gentle voice. Thank you.

Breathtaking art
This is hands down one of my favorite decks I own and I own quite a lot! The color scheme is serene, the energy is peaceful and just the way the cards are artistically represented is beautiful! Some cards made me very emotional. This is beautiful!

Such An Authentic Approach To Tarot
These cards have such an authentic approach that just pulls you into the meaning of the Tarot. The close up profile of each card has a vulnerable intimacy that allows you to really meditate on the situation. An amazing and unique deck! Thank you so much!
