It is so easy to read and can be be hung on a wall so it takes up no counter space. Info is large and can be seen from a distance. it's the best we ever had. It works great!

Weather station was fairly easy to set up. When selection Mountain time the clock time was 1 hour off. Needed to set it manually but that was no big deal. After a couple days of use he temperature readings seem to be accurate. Inside temp was accurate from the beginning, it just took a couple days for the outside temp. The forecast might not be totally accurate. It's cloudy here today and the weather station shows it as being sunny. Overall, it provides me with the information I wanted readily accessible. I'm using it in a she shed and the information I needed is: inside/outside temperatures and humidity, date, time, day of the week. I have it set up on the wall about 10' from where I work and I can easily see the readings.It's worth the price paid.

We've had this weather station for a month now and it's a huge hit. Large, easy to read screen packed with great info in large fonts. It sits on top of our stainless steel fridge; it matches so well you'd think it came with it. In a glance it tells you the exact date, time, temp (out & in), humidity, trends... without setting anything or having to squint. It gathers all the information it needs over the air, so no setting it. Load it with batteries and away it goes. I've had many of these over the years, this is easily the best one and the price is crazy good.

I really like the size and appearance of this weather station. I think the unit looks good, and the size of the text couple with the moderate size of the unit strikes the right balance for me. The base station takes 3 AAA batteries, while the remote outdoor sensor takes 2 AA batteries. I really wish they would stick with AA in both components. The outdoor unit seems like it isn't that well sealed against water intrusion, so I placed it under my porch to be sure that water didn't cause a failure. I put new batteries in both units. Both powered up right away, and the indoor unit fairly quickly received the atomic clock signal and set the time correctly. Indoor and outdoor units paired up, and I placed the outdoor unit under my porch (15 feet from the indoor unit). Everything was working fine. Fast-forward about 3 days - the indoor unit showed no signal from the outdoor sensor. (The station is at a cabin so I'm not there all the time and don't know when it started acting up.) I checked for loose batteries, brought the outdoor unit inside next to the indoor unit, changed the channel multiple times on both units, and it finally started working again. Put the outdoor unit back in place. Fast-forward about 10 days and I'm back at the cabin. Again, no display for the outdoor conditions. Double-checked outdoor unit appears to be functioning (took out and replaced batteries, indicator light is working) and the indoor station would not show anything from the remote sensor. I'm done with it. I have no way of knowing if the failure was the remote or the indoor station. I really did want this station to work, but I would suggest buying something else. (Or maybe I got the rare lemon?) Maybe you'll get lucky?

My old weather station is getting long in the tooth and I replaced it with this one. Easy to read display and easy to set up. If I had a complaint, it would be that the outdoor unit is a bit awkward to mount securely while still allowing easy battery changes. Also if you decide to have it on atable top vs a wall mount, the indoor unit is a little feeble. I'll probably end up mounting it on a wall.

Good but not backlit. If you want to check the data when you wake up at night you're out of luck unless you want to turn on a light. I understand that the base unit only has three AAA batteries but a similar unit I had would light up when you passed your hand over a sensor. It was also battery powered. If this unit had that feature it would be a 5.
