Actimove Manus Wrist Brace

I rarely write reviews but the quality of the Actimove Manus Wrist Brace is so good that I feel compelled to recommend it.As other reviewers have said, this type of brace used to be supplied by the NHS to arthritis sufferers and it is more or less identical to a very old and battered brace that I still use. I have recently been supplied with another NHS brace by the Hand Clinic but it is a completely different design and provides only a fraction of the support provided by the Actimove.The main difference between my very old brace and the Actimove appears to be the sizing, since my old NHS one is an Extra Large, whereas the Actimove is merely a Large. I followed the precise sizing guidelines,with some reservations but I now find that the Large Actimove indeed provides considerably more support than my old Extra Large NHS brace.I cannot recommend this product highly enough and am absolutely delighted with it. I have just ordered another one from Amazon in case they become unobtainable.

excellent service, though I think it would be very useful to show size of product ordered in all documentation as I now have 2 miss sized braces, my fault, but it could be easily rectified with clear order marking. Thanks

The brace provides a welcome relief from wrist pain. When wearing the brace it is possible to do such tasks as lifting the kettle, and ironing, again. It is light and reasonable unobtrusive. It dries quickly after washing.

The wrist brace fits very well due to a precise sizing guide. The materials are as to be expected: strong elasticated fabric, firm, adjustable velcro fastenings and a well position 'brace' insert that is unobtrusive but essential and effective.The product had not arrived several days after the date forecast. I posted an unfavourable comment via the Amazon 'product comment link'. (I had not noticed the 'contact the seller first' caution). Within a short space of time the seller contacted me, took the details and rang me back within half an hour. There had been a cock up, which he had immediately sorted out and arranged for the brace, and an extra one for my inconvenience, to be sent at once. Even without the compensatory extra product I've no hesitation in recommending either the brace itself or the supplier. It's a clearly a company that values highly it's on-line reputation for its goods and especially customer support. I like especially an organisation that is frank and prompt about its lapses. I've made plenty in my time...including in this case not contacting Nightingale supplies first.

Bought for my elderly mother who already had one supplied by the local hospital.Product arrived a day after expected delivery time but as she wasn't in urgent need it didn't matter.

I have been using these (or similar|) wrist braces for many years. They were originally recommended by the hospital consultant to help with rheumatoid arthritis. They have previously been supplied by the NHS but I will now I am happy to buy them. They certainly help to ease the pain in my wrists and hands.
