At 3 billion CFU per tablet, they are a reasonably high dose on their own and the manufacturer advises two tablets per day, so a total of 6 billion CFU.It gives you a bit of confidence to know that they are manufactured in the UK, which means they have to meet GMP standards. The tablets need to be stored in the fridge once opened, which is quite unusual and something to be aware of. Overall, they're an easy way to take your daily dose of probiotics and not bad value for money.

Noticing these Horbaach™ Acidophilus Probiotic Tablets when offered for review under the Amazon Vine programme I ordered them due to them containing Lactobacillus Acidophilus, desirable for the smooth operation of the stomach. Stomach dysbiosis is an imbalance in the stomach flora. Lactobacillus Acidophiluscontaine assists in lactose digestion, enhances the immune system, and reduces cholesterol level – all very desirable outcomes.Supplied in a re-sealable packet of 120 tablets, the recommended dose is two tablets daily meaning this is a two month supply. At just £6.58 that’s 11p a day, which I think is very reasonable indeed and excellent value for the benefit of feeling better generally. The product is certified wheat, dairy and preservative free and suitable for vegans. The capsules are 9mm round, white, odourless and are swallowed easily, although I found taking them with a drink of water to be preferable to aid swallowing. There was no aftertaste after swallowing, which is great as this is something I particularly don’t like from some tablets, but no such issues here. I like the effect of these capsules after an initial settling-in period, particularly not feeling as tired and listless as I have done over recent months and greater predictability. Take these if you need a one-off boost to your digestive system, or continually as part of a regime. They certainly work for me and have made me feel brighter, which I think is a real bonus. I’d definitely recommend them.

Whether or not I'll see any any benefits, is another matter and not something I can tell immediately.I have taken similar products before so I can easily talk about the outward quality such as size, shape etc.There's 120 tablets, and at the advised 2/day you've got two months supply. I've usually seen these as relatively large capsules rather than tablets - they're about 8mmx5mm and I'd say larger than most aspirin, smaller than most ibuprofen. They're not sugar coated though so if that's something you can't cope with, them being smaller than a capsule might not be an improvement for you.I don't have any issues with the quality as far as I can evaluate it and didn't notice any flavour but there's enough smell that I'd not want to risk letting it stay in my mouth too long. I was able to swallow it easily as it's not what I'd consider at all large (and I do have problems swallowing large tablets so avoid them).I'd say if you have one of the conditions doctors actually use these for as a treatment, this product should make it on your shortlist if it's other attributes suit your parameters e.g. relatively small tablet, price etc.I'll update the review if I've noticed any improvement in my current digestive issues by the end of February or earlier (although that would only be anecdotal of course).
