Dorel Living Queen Metal Bed, Antique Pewter

The bed is beautiful, & sturdy. There was minor damage on the finish of the footboard, but not very noticeable & fixable with a sharpie pen. We have a 4"-1" wedge under the mattress (remedy for GERD), and the mattress tends to scoot down; the footboard hold the mattress in place without any apparent strain to the bed. Assembly was pretty easy; it was done by 2 "old ladies" in about 2 hours (with one husband supervising from his walker). All the parts were there, everything fit, instructions were understandable.

I actually bought two of these bed, because I liked the first one so much. There is no wobbling or squeaking. It was pretty easy to assemble. It did take time, but I did it with my teenage son. It is a very dark bronze, not black. The design went with my Victorian guest room, but I am planning to use the other bed in my son's room with his space galaxy duvet cover.

Bed is gorgeous. Hands down exactly what I was looking for. No worries about pieces and parts missing or getting dinged up in shipping. The packaging on this made sure everything arrived safe and sound. Assembly was easy - although we had an issue with 2 pre-drilled holes not lining up on the sideboards. We were too far in the assembly process to worry about it. Didn't want to have to pack it back up and ship it back. So far, doesn't seem to affect the stability...fingers crossed - if we have a problem, we'll update our review.

Seems like a sturdy bed. Took one piece out of box. Color is inaccurate. More brownish gold like an antique bronze. Very dark. Some slight silver streaking.

I LOVE my new Dorel metal bed. I ordered the dark metal one and it looks very nice against the off white bedroom walls. It is very sturdy and does not squeak. A word of caution though when ordering a bedskirt. I tried a tailored one with split corners and the corners did not fit at all because of the design of the bed by the footboard. I ordered a very full ruffled bedskirt with split corners and it fits perfectly. I love this bed and highly recommend it if you are looking to redecorate your bedroom. Mine is a queen size. I uploaded lots of photos. My neighbor assembled it in about 40 minutes and said it was easy. It was very well packed in the box.

I love my new bed. I was even able to put it together by myself. It took a bit of time but well worth. The directions were easy to follow and everything was supplied so I didn't have to go hunting for equipment. I like how sturdy and solid it feels. Not flimsy at all! Overall, thrilled!

Item arrived late but worth the wait. My husband put it together in no time and with no problem. The base is a couple of inches wider than our box spring and mattress but that's not an issue. The headboard is so airy that we can position it against our windows without blocking any light. This had been a problem for me since I hate blocking windows, but this actually looks great because the metal working really stands out. After sleeping on the floor this bed seems tall for me but it sure looks great in our 1915 home.

This bed is so nice. Breeze to put together . Used existing mattress and low profile (4.5) box spring because it must have one. Just very nice and would order again. Have shared with my daughter for her room. Ship time was short. Could not be happier.
