Kurkure and Lay's Hangout Pack (12 Pack) From India

These are goooood. Got them as a holiday novelty. Our family is fairly removed from Indian culture of our heritage so I thought this would be fun to remind the kids of that part of the tree. WIN!

As an American trying to buy new foreign food to try. The inclusion of American sour cream was a bit frustrating. I'm no food expert but I didn't notice a difference between theirs and ours. No subtle seasoning differences. The other flavors were great. Really enjoyed the Naughty tomato flavor. Surprised we don't carry it in America since it's so similar to fries and ketchup.

Interesting flavors but overpriced compared to going to a local international market.

These snack chips were like traveling to India to experience another cultures food and saving on the airline ticket! I have never had any of these taste sensations. Some of them I loved, a couple not so much like the sweet lime and hot pepper cream filled crunchy tubes, but I enjoyed trying out what another country enjoys so this box was well worth the experience to try something new and different! Their American style cream and onion is similar to our sour cream and onion except for the fact their version includes a lot more onion unlike the poor quality sold in the US that I will not buy anymore. That is what travel is all about-which includes the food of each country!All of the snacks were full of flavor and delicious actually, if only I liked lime or tomato-based flavored snacks! I saw one of my favorite, “Masala munch” available to buy in a single flavor pack. I may just do that because those are irresistible and I don’t even know what that flavoring is.The most important thing to know is most of them have a slight hot kick to them-so if you like your food mild, this might not be for you!
