Should have bought Bob.
I had a Century Bob XXL bag for about nine years, and I used to train with it about once or twice a week. A couple of years ago, unfortunately, a combination of circumstances in my life meant I had to dispose of it. Recently, though (things having settled down somewhat), I decided to get another one, but was put off by the fact that the XXL is now very expensive. Stupidly, I thought I'd go for a cheaper option. My first impression on taking this thing out of the box was that it looks ridiculous. I actually laughed, before I remembered how much money I'd spent on it. It looks like the original from which the moulds were taken was sculpted by some entity that had never seen a human being. Insanely broad shoulders taper down to a waist Audrey Hepburn would have been proud of. The head is massive, at a guess I'd say about a third larger than a human head, and is tilted up and very slightly cocked to one side. The face area is pretty hard too, especially the nose. I used to wear bag or MMA gloves when using the Bob bag, but I think boxing gloves would be a good idea if you were planning on hitting the head/face a lot.The filling hole on the base is tiny, a couple of centimeters, and sealed with a push fit bung. The Bob bag hole is (as I remember) around six centimeters and has a screw cap.In short, then, this thing is nowhere near as good as a Century Bob. It isn't very tall, either, the description says 5' 10', which I can't dispute, as I have put it back in it's box now ready to return it, but it did look a bit short. I'm currently getting quotes from carriers to send it back, so this whole episode is proving to be an expensive mistake. Save up and buy a Century Bob would be my advice, or buy a conventional free-standing punch bag.Just an edit to the above. Credit where it's due, the supplier of the bag, Nu-Fit, refunded me immediately, so a first-class service from them.

Robust. A good buy.
I’ve only posted a review after using it in several sessions to see how it stands up to heavy punching and kicking.I was impressed when it was delivered, in two separate packages as mentioned by others. The body has a good weight and firmness and the feature I most appreciate is that the core support is a metal pipe, rather than the plastic tube other wavemaster types use, - which collapse under heavy kicks.I filled the base with water- adding some disinfectant. When hit, it does rock back as a real opponent would, and the base moves around a bit, as do all, but it’s not excessive. The head is large, which gives it the strength to resist more impact and has the chin angled to take uppercuts, and expose the throat for strikes.I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic and feels pretty realistic
Heavy duty and recommend wearing gloves or at least wraps for anything over 50% power on either punches or kicks. I go bare hand now but that's with a couple months build up every day. Quality purchase for full body striking 👊

Poor Quality - NOT for for purpose…
Item arrived with two of the feet missing which the seller shipped after I had made contact. There were also patches of the outer red layer missing in places where seller gave small reimbursement. After using item for a number of weeks the red outer layer has become discoloured and has disintegrated - looks awful. The item moves no matter how full it is with sand even with a moderate punch. The rotation system is annoying or perhaps mine is broken because if you hit from certain angles the whole upper half rotates way to much which isn’t natural from a boxing perspective.

Good target, just the right size and height.
This arrived in good time in two separate boxes. Once in position, I filled it with water to the very top (which is a lot of water) and it is quite sturdy, people have stated it wobbled or moved when hit - so do people - I have matting down and it sits on that well without sliding around. It's fine for practice and nice to have a realistic target, although the head is quite large! So far so good.
