This is very useful.
I needed a light for wiring up some recessed fixtures, My LED flashlights were pretty awful for the task. You see they are round and when you are struggling to pull wires through a small hole in the ceiling and that wire hits that cylindrical light, it rolls to who knows where. Not easy to find again given that you can't actually see up there. So I bought one of these as well as a Makita pistol grip style light, which was actually more expensive. This light is better in every way. It has 3 brightness settings, a port to charge a USB device, unnecessary but awesome, a warm white defuser, great when it's the only source of light, and most importantly, stick this on top of a 5Ah battery and it's basically a brick that lights up. It's awesome. It's small, low and heavy enough that it just kinda sits there, and bright enough to easily see what you are doing, and with that defuser on, if I do happen to stare into it, I am not seeing purple blobs for the next 20 min. If you are invested in the Makita LXT battery system, buy one, don't ask yourself if you need it, because you do, just buy it. You'll thank me. If you are reading this review and it isn't in your cart yet, get it there. You obviously have Makita batteries, and you obviously just did something where you needed something like this. I'm sure that other battery systems have their own brick light, and maybe some are cheaper, because for what this is, this isn't a bargain, but it's very very useful. You'll only regret buying it until the first time you need it, and from then on you'll need it way more often then you think you do.

Bright light
This thing is awesome for working and lighting up the area! It’s very bright! The orange lens doesn’t do much to tone it down so don’t expect this light to be a camping inside the tent thing, it’s more of a flashlight for a trip to the outhouse. It’s very very brig ht and totally amazing. I’m not sure how long the life of the bulbs are rated for but again it’s pretty bright. It would be a great bike light, or perfect for the ISS! Haha!

Excellent
This is a handy light / USB charger. It is dependable and gets used during camping and travelling situations when a light and USB plug for phone charging might not be where you want it to be. For example right before bed time and when sleeping.

Convenient
This little Makita flashlight has been very convenient. It's small enough that I can hook it onto my belt loop while I'm crawling around in crawlspaces. Shove it into pockets, sit it pretty much anywhere and it does a pretty great job of illuminating space. The part I appreciate the most is the long battery life because I never have to worry about it running dead. Even 1 bar left on a 4ah battery keeps it going for a couple hours. The only thing I can't abide is the cost. $50 for what amounts to a Makita brand Keychain light? Rough. I'm hoping that drops off with the Tariffs because that's too much. It's worth closer to $35. Still, I don't regret the purchase.

Great Camp Lamp.
Great lamp for camping. Choice of lighting levels high and low was a great addition. And it keeps my devices charged.

A not massively bright (but bright enough) light that should last 24 hours on a 5Ah battery. Ideal power cut stuff. Will charge my phone too.

Perfect for camping. I pack it in my 65L bag with a 4.0Ah battery and it lasts for up to 48 hours with lamp on and charging my phone. I also use it for a work light under my vehicles. It's impressively bright for its size.

Shipped quickly and arrived days early. A great light for lighting a room during a power outage or working outside at night. Has three light modes - front, top and both, plus a USB charger. I was concerned it might not be bright enough, but it is a LOT brighter than I expected. Well worth the extra money over the cheapo alternatives - very glad I made this purchase.
