ETS Speed Loader for Glock Magazines 9mm 40 SW and More CAM Gen II

I bought this for my glock 19 and can load 30 rounds into a 33rd mag in about 6 seconds flat. It's incredible how much this opens up your range time. Other speed loaders do make loading single rounds fairly effortless and this DOES STILL TAKE EFFORT. Forcing 10 rounds against a spring is going to work, fellas. There is a learning curve on HOW and where EXACTLY to apply the pressure, and it IS going to suck on brand new mag springs.... I'm not "strong" but I wouldn't expect a small woman to really be able to utilize this. If mine somehow broke, I would replace it immediately. I want to maximize time spent shooting vs reloading and this is a range bag staple. An UpLULA or something may take less "work" per individual round and if you've got a disability or arthritis or something, that may be more appropriate. If you're trying to load 9mm mags as quickly as humanly possible, this is your stop. It specifically says it will not work with a sig p365, and maybe it doesn't do those 10 rounders well...I can say with certainty that it works great on a sig p365x 12 rounder. EDIT: I regret to inform the 3 people that will ever read this, that it no longer works on my p365x mags. If it ain't broke, don't fix it... I applied a bit of oil to see if I could get it to run any smoother (I lightly lubed it as recommended when I got it) and ruined a good thing. It still functions beautifully for glock mags but a fully depressed plunger now only seats around 4 in the mag and the rest fall out upon removal EDIT 2: I am thrilled to announce that we are back working on p365x mags. I go to the range like 1-2x a week and this actually improves my life. It is now working smoother than ever on my glock mags and fills my p365x mags like a charm. I will never clean and lube this thing again. EDIT 3: This is basically a diary that no one will ever read, but I got the magguts +2 for my 12 round XL mag and replaced the spring and not only do I get an extra 2 rounds in the mag for virtually no change in size, this speed loader now works like butter on the 365x/xl mag. It's still outrageously fast and easy on the glock mags. Can I get an affiliate code fr? Every time I go to the range I have people walk up and ask about it. I let them know it's pretty universal for doublestack 9s, let them try it with their mag, they take a picture of the logo and prance off. Holla at me, ETS

When I spotted this in an ad online I thought it was just another gimmicky speed loader. I watched several YouTube videos and it seemed to be pretty legitimate and I was willing to give it a try. After all, Amazon would take it back if I didn't like it. To top it off, when I first looked at this in the 9MM version, it was $25. Then Amazon lowered the price to $15. Now I had to try it. When I got it I was anxious to see how well it worked. Every video I watched over the past two weeks was pretty informative so I didn't bother to read the instructions and just went for it. I have to tell you that although it worked, it didn't go quite as easy and smooth as the videos showed. So when all else fails, read the instructions. The first thing the instructions stated was to oil it first and showed where the oil needed to be applied. Oh! That's right! The vids all did say to oil it first. I was so excited to try this thing that I forgot all about that part. So I used some Rem Oil on a cotton swab and applied it as the instructions showed. Perfect! This thing worked like a charm. I first tried it on my double stacks then the single stacks. It worked just like the videos showed. I pressed the mags against the table instead of my body as the vids showed and it worked just fine. The single stacks are a little tricky at first because you have to make sure that the mags are centered and seated correctly but after loading about 6, you can do it blindfolded. I bought one for my son. When the .380 loaders go on sale, I will buy that one, too. My .380 mags ae much easier on the fingers to load than the 9mm mags so you really don't need a speed loader to load them but because this is so simple and fast why not? I recommend this highly. I didn't give any stars to the question of durability because I've only had this a few days and it is made from (I think) ABS plastic, only time will tell just how durable this thing is. Personally, I think I will have it for a long time. Update: This works very well on all of my mags, both single stack and double stack with the exception of one, my Sig P365 mags. This device will not load more than three in a 10 or 12 round mag. I've tried it over and over but it won't do it.

This ETS Speed Loader (CAM Gen II) for Glock magazines works really well and is very fast when it likes your ammo. It loads 9mm and .40 S&W quickly and smoothly on compatible rounds. The problem is it’s very picky — some ammo brands feed perfectly, while others don’t work well at all no matter what you try. You’ll need to do some trial and error to figure out which ones play nice with it. Overall, when it works it’s excellent and much faster than loading by hand, but the inconsistency across different ammo brands keeps it from being a 5-star tool.

As everyone else, I saw the videos for this and thought it was the sliced bread of the mag loading gadgets. I felt the same way about the magLula, which has never disappointed but obviously it’s a single round loader. I have about 50 9mm mags of various makes and capacities, so I couldn’t wait to get the ETS! I’d say 80% of my mags are Glock and ETS. I watched the video, twice. I grabbed by OEM Glock 33rd and my ETS 27rd and went at it. First 10rds, easy peasy! Next 10, place on chest and simulate plunging a sharp dagger motion with effort. Next 10rds same except simulate using a dull dagger to pierce your sternum type effort. WHEW, 30rds loaded in however many seconds (didn’t time it) and I need a breather. Same with the ETS mag with even MORE effort ‘cos ETS mag springs are tight AF, even when I use my Lula for a single round, let alone trying to stuff 10rds in 1 feed. Here’s where it gets interesting. I’m loading Federal Aluminum ammo. The last round of the ETS load was super stiff, as expected ‘cos of reasons mentioned above about ETS mag springs. So I kept plunging like Travolta with the adrenaline syringe in Pulp Fiction. I finally quit ‘cos it dawned on me that maybe I’m already fully loaded. I removed the mag and the plunger and the final round dropped out...in pieces: bullet, casing and powder all over my work table. I was semi shocked but not surprised because 1. It’s aluminum. It’s not meant to be pushed on with any pressure. I suspect the pressure I put on it to load that last round was enough to deform the case. The case opening was flared and thus the bullet unseated. By the way, I wasn’t fully loaded on that mag so this round should have loaded. 2. It’s cheap Federal Aluminum brand. You get what you pay for, which is bad crimps. I’ve had a round do the same thing during a live fire drill. The bullet unseated and sat in the chamber, no ignition. I tried the tool on my 15rd OEM Glock and ETS mags with brass. Worked easier and less effort and no damage to the last round. All good there. I have not used the tool on my Sig, SW or Beretta mags cos honestly, they’re all 15rds and less, I don’t have as many of them as Glock\ETS so magLula on them is not a problem. I don’t need to load 10 at a time and use Dwayne Johnson type strength. However, for my Glocks and ETS mags of which I have about 20 or so (lost count when ETS mags went on sale for $7), this tool is absolutely a time saver, despite the effort it takes and the aluminum ammo thing. In summary: The tool works well enough for my Glock and ETS mags. Jury is out, since I’m in no need to use on my other mags which are all steel. Watch the instructions videos more than once. Practice it slowly using only a few rounds. I will not be using this tool for any aluminum cased ammo. The effort it requires to load 27-30rds is enough to deform an aluminum casing thus unseating a bullet or shredding the case all together (as reported in another review). Basically, this tool is relegated to: Glock\ETS mags, no aluminum casing, which is fine considering my need was for Glock\ETS mags. Edited to add: Tried it on my P320 OEM Sig 15rd mag and works fine. UPDATE 1.24.20: It broke, after about 300rds. The same area someone else posted in their review. Little piece of plastic chipped and flew out when I loaded my SiG P320 mag. See photo of area that broke. Returning for refund. It was fun while it lasted. Maybe their next version will be better.

At first when I got this I had trouble making it work. It's really important to watch the video they provide on their website and is referenced in the instructions included with the product. Here's a short rundown: Gun Oil : you need to swab the track and the part of the loader where the bullets rub. That makes it easier for them to slide. Orientation: Keep the bullets pointing up, rather than down or sideways, before loading. They will track so much better and easier. Put the loader in your gut: Put the end of the loader against your stomach and slide. Easier, less jams, and you won't break it against a solid object. Slam: Don't slam the magazine into the loader, you could break the loader. Click it in with steady and firm force. Breakin: The loader will get looser and easier as it wears over time. When it's new it's tight, jerky, and harder to use. Like I said. At first I couldn't make it work. Then I read the instructions. Now I see that it will load my mags in seconds without sore thumbs or dropping ammo. It's going to be my favorite loader, I can tell. My previous loader was fast, but I had to load on bullet at a time. This loads 10 or more so fast it's crazy. You can add as many as the mag will hold. If you are limited because you have a big mag, say 30 rounds, you can simply pick up more bullets after your first load without removing the mag. I love how the rail picks up the bullets. You really never have to touch them. A winning product that for me, is a must have. My fingers thank you ETS Group.

It seems like it's really hit or miss in using this to load your magazines. I've seen reviews on all ends of the spectrum where these work perfectly fine to load your magazines, and other reviews and experiences like mine where it's nearly impossible to do so. I immediately had issues when trying to pick these up from my ammo boxes like the way they do in their videos. I think the reason I had issues with this was because my ammo boxes have a little bit of play in them where the cartridges sit, so the second one cartridge would get on the lip and turn even a little bit, it would jam up before allowing any other cartridges to slide on. This could easily be fixed if they added a steel or any metallic guide rail along where you slide the cartridges, but unfortunately they went with a plastic design to keep costs down and it immediately showed. So fine, I just had to load the 10 rounds onto the rail by hand. However, I was running into issues when trying to load my magazines that I think was caused by the same lack of metallic rails for the cartridges to slide along. The second I'd start pushing down with the plastic plate to push them into the magazine, they would jam up after just one or two cartridges were fed. What's worse is that when I would remove the magazine to try and remove the stuck cartridges, it was almost harder to get them cartridges out than anything. Of course, this could all be caused by the way my magazines are shaped, but I ran into the same issue almost every time. If I was able to successfully fill a magazine, it would take so much force against the loader that even holding it against my hip to brace it would hurt after one or two attempts. I stopped trying to hold it against my chest or stomach after just a few times of it hurting pretty badly with the amount of force I had to apply. One thing to note is that I was using flat point bullets when trying to load these, as that's what I shoot for USPSA. It seemed a little bit easier using round nose bullets to load a magazine, but I was probably only successful maybe 5-10 times trying to use this in the last couple of weeks. For that reason, I only took 2 stars from overall review, simply because it doesn't meet my needs but may work for others. I would suggest this to people only if they wanted to take the chance that it may not work for their magazines. If ETS ever decides to improve the design with some metallic guide rails, I might give it a try again, but this didn't work for me this time around and I chose to return it.

Follow directions, oil before using! It takes practice! It’s plastic and a cheap price! So don’t expect it to be amazing! I used on shadow system mags, Glock mags! CZ mags, so far all worked great! Worked good with 9mm blazers(FMJ) Didn’t work that good with Winchester (FMJ) but still worked some what! Works really good with defense ammunition! Like critical defense and sig Sauer (V-crown). Probably cheaper rounds will not work that good with, but who knows. I noticed when you load mag in first, (tap in good until it clicks good) and then load ammo on slide rail and then I use my hip bone to rest end of mag, keep pressure on mag! and then put the top slide piece on! The best thing I learned when loading ammo into mag, (final part) is to use a good amount of momentum and commit to the push all the way down until both pieces are flush. If you stop or hesitate at all it makes it harder! Try not to pinch your hand in between both pieces when sliding ammo into mag! A lot of times it will miss the last two or three rounds. It Takes practice tho! It works and it doesn’t work! But it’s something easy and nice to have at the range! and it’s definitely worth buying! Gave 5 start’s because it’s worth it for the price! I think if slide rails and some components were made with better materials it could be a game changer when it comes to quick loaders. Hopefully this helps somewhat.

Loading magazines by hand gets old pretty quickly during a longer range session. That's the main reason I picked up the ETS CAM Gen II Speed Loader—I wanted something that could make the repetitive part of range day a little easier. The biggest advantage for me is simply saving wear and tear on my fingers and thumbs. After loading multiple magazines, especially during an extended practice session, I definitely appreciate having a loading aid available. I also like that it's designed to work with compatible Glock magazines in 9mm, .40 S&W, and other supported calibers, rather than being limited to a single magazine. As with any accessory like this, I recommend checking compatibility with your particular magazines before buying. There's a little bit of a learning curve compared with loading individual rounds by hand, but once familiar with it, I found the concept straightforward. It's also lightweight and compact enough to keep with my range equipment without adding much bulk. It's not the most exciting piece of range gear I own, but after loading magazine after magazine, it's definitely one of the accessories my thumbs appreciate the most.

Work super well for CZ-75 magazine. (A 9mm pistol) You will be able to shoot more bullet at the range. You don't need to spend extra money for magazine. Realy easy to reload. Works amezing when your ammo is on a tray like Federal Ammunition. In canada its perfect, becose many of those ammo tray have 10 bullet in row, so, you don't need to grab more then a row for each magazine. I srongly recomend this product.

I have the item for which this is a "knock off", and I am very impressed. It loads CZ and Glock very well, but is a little less smooth with SIG 9mm. It like Blazer brass, but some bulk ammunition (Remington) has feed issues. Not that it is the angle of the flange at the head of the cartridge that makes a difference, and the "lips" of the magazine. Over all, it is virtually identical to the much more expensive model. Both models require lubrication for optimum performance. (I use "barrel butter", as a light grease seems to last longer than oil.)
