Great for cilantro
It’s nice to store it and keep it clean and fresh. I researched a lot and this is the best I found so far. I like how it has a hanging basket inside and a way to empty old water. Keeps it fresh nicely. Good closure . Nice design. Highly recommend!

Easy to place Herbs, Easy to Clean, Super Convenient.
Fell in love with this as soon as I tested it, for many reasons I’ve had MANY before finding this one. They are in the trash. The intelligent design, which you can tell via hope it operates on a functional level:Easy to use - and this.. is an overstatement, it’s effortless to use.In my fridge it fits well, looks good. Catches the eye. Very attractive to seeing its sleek design with the herbs looking healthy.Upon setting on my counter, to gather my herbs, when you lift up the cover, it effortlessly lifts up the herbs, so you can take what you need. Close the cover, it brings the herbs down into the container. It’s beautifully done… efficiency & simplicity.Reading slide it work for the herbs? Yes, keeps them fresh…My cilantro was brought back to rejuvenation. Prior to receiving this, I had my cilantro in a glass cup, with water, spring in the bottom of fridge to avoid accelerated willing. Still.. my cilantro was gradually going into wilt.. All hanging down off the sides of the cup, dark greens slowly becoming light green, the cilantro smell was also fading away…I transferred them to this container, one day later.. the Cilantro was strong, erect (no wilting), the dark green color came back. That rich cilantro smell came back. I was pleasantly surprised. Is it value for the money? Absolutely!I will buy more of these for my other herbs.I will stay loyal to this company if they keep putting out quality of life products like this that extends the life - foods that keep me healthy.Basically… keep me healthy, and I’ll gladly keep putting money in your pocket!

It last a long time!
Great Product! I ordered two and one came broken. I notified the company and they quickly sent another. As far as how it works, it's wonderful and worth the money. We live in a rural area. Cilantro is hard to keep fresh. We usually have to use it the same day we buy it. Now, It keeps it nice, fresh for long time. It's always ready to use. I really like the design. You clean your cilantro and cut the ends before putting it in the container. I'm extremely impressed with it. You can use it for other veggies as well. Love it!

One of the best kitchen purchases I've ever made!
I'm obsessed with these things! And as a lifelong cook, I encourage everyone I know to have at least one in their kitchen. Here's why:There are so many gimmicky kitchen devices these days. You can fall down a rabbit hole of neat kitchen gadgets tailor-made for one specific task (like separating eggs or chopping veggies or destemming kale) that seem like they would be SO helpful and make prep work or storage or cleaning or cooking itself much easier. But 99% of these kitchen gadgets aren't worth the time. Trust me. You'll rarely use them. They'll clutter up vital drawer or counter space. And they'll be difficult to clean. A good cook with good technique can efficiently use the most basic kitchen tools, used for millenia, to get the job done - a nice cutting board, sharp knives, a sauce pan that heats evenly, and clean hands etc.But not these. These herb keepers do something that no cling wrap, tupperware, wet paper towel, or designated fridge crisper drawer can do. They take fresh herbs that might last a week in the fridge at best and extend their life to 3, 4, 5, or even 6 weeks. I’m not joking.Countless times I’ve purchased herbs at the store, stored them “properly” in the fridge, only to find they had partially wilted by the time I needed them a few days later. These herb keepers have solved that problem. I no longer have to fret about whether or not I have fresh herbs on hand for the recipe I’m making that night. Because with these herb keepers, I always do.I can’t say for certain why these make such a night & day difference compared to the other usual methods of storing fresh herbs. But it’s probably a combination of several factors — 1. The herbs are in an enclosed environment to keep humidity high (same concept as crisper drawers). 2. The herbs are upright like how they grow naturally. 3. The stems are submerged in water allowing the plant to continue to uptake water. 4. Less oxygen exposure. Also, these herb savors are MUCH larger than all the other ones you’ll find on Amazon. I won’t mention brand names, but most herb savers on Amazon are not nearly large enough to accommodate an entire bunch of parsley or cilantro or dill. But these do. They are just the right size and rarely does any herb go wasted because it couldn’t all fit.As a testament to my satisfaction with these herb keepers, I’ve included photos which show organic dill and parsley that I purchased over 4 weeks ago and are still good. Here a couple tips that will help you get the best use out of these devices.1. After purchasing, wash your herbs thoroughly. Then, DRY them thoroughly with a salad spinner and/or paper towels. Herbs placed in the herb keeper that are visibly wet will go bad much quicker than dry ones. Drying is essential!2. Do NOT overcrowd your herbs. If the bunch of herbs you bought is unusually large, don’t try to stuff it all in there. The herbs need room & space to breath. Overcrowding will speed up decay. It’s better to remove some than to try to “herb-keep” them all.3. Make sure to replace the water at least every 5-7 days. Try not to wait until the water turns slightly brown-ish.4. If you see any individual stems/leaves that are beginning to go bad, swiftly remove them.5. Cut an inch off the base of the stems before inserting and make sure the herbs aren’t too tall that they’re hitting the lid.

Does as advertised - and may help organize your fridge
I took off one star because you’ll prolly need to trim down asparagus for it to fit neatly upright so the heads of the stalks don’t get bruised against the lid. In my fridge, a container one inch taller would still fit in the main shelf. Other than that, I can say that it does as advertised. Asparagus stored in the container does have a longer shelf life than stored in the vegetable drawer (w/ a damp paper towel wrapped around the base of the stalks & then bagged). I regularly eat asparagus, so it’s also nice to be able to free up that drawer space. Because the container is tall, you still see it even if left at the back of the fridge.

Awesome container
I use a lot of cilantro, parsley, and green onions. For years, I just put them in glasses with water and a plastic bag over the top. I came across this container and thought I would give it a try. I love that is is large enough to fit 3 bundles. Usually that meant 3 glasses. I also like that when you lift the lid, the herbs rise as well. I also like the cap to remove the water without removing the herbs. Easy peasy. Many people complained that it wasn't tall enough for green onions etc. Well, all I did was cut down the tops a little. I do that anyway. They fit perfectly. So glad that I now have 1 container versus 3 glasses. So happy about my purchase so far.
