Had socks for a few months now and already 2 pair have been binned dur to holes showing up in them. disappointed has there are great socks and have the top loose is so nice.

Similar to the socks I used to buy at M&S. Truly 100% cotton. I've had a pack supposedly all black that came a variety of dark colours but that didn't matter to me. They are loose - un-elasticated - which works fine for me but not for my dad, when I gave some to him. They do wear through at about the same rate as the M&S ones but a) I walk a lot; and b) they are a fraction of the price - so are less of a concern to replace. I have had four or five sets over a couple of years, sometimes from different sellers but al looking substantially similar.

Loose top socks are hard to find. These are loose but don't fall down.However, the are quite thin and not entirely smooth beneath the feet. I am getting used to them.Great value. Definitely worth trying if you want large, loose-top socks.

Got these for my husband who has to wear support stockings after undergoing major heart surgery 4 years ago. He wanted socks that wouldn’t be tight round his toes (he has quite large feet). These seemed to fit the bill. Wearing them for the first time was great, they were very comfortable, soft, didn’t dig in round his legs and fitted really well. Then I washed them on a gentle warm wash and let them dry naturally as thought a tumble dry might shrink them a little. Then my husband wore them again but now they slide off his feet when he’s worn them for a little while and end up scrunched in the bottom of his shoe. Haven’t used all the pairs yet so we’ll see what they are like.
