Catch one every time inset em out on fresh mounds. Heavy springs. Takes some muscle to set. But its a good buy and solving my problem one mole at a time.

I've been trapping moles in our yard for over a decade. I have used many different methods ranging from deterrents to poison bait to traps. The only effective method that has worked, have been traps. These type of traps however do NOT work. They have consistently failed every time! The moles dig right thru and past these traps and push the soil up thru the traps, never setting them off. These are worthless, and too late to return since I keep giving them a chance to see if they work over the last couple of months. Dont waste your money and energy of setting & resetting these everyday, in the hopes they might one day work. They simply dont. (BTW, the only traps that have consistently worked for me have been the Victor 0631 type of traps. These do the job over 80% of the time. I have no stock in these and receive no kickbacks. Just letting everyone know the benefits of my experience and save consumers their time and hard earned money).

I couldn’t set these mole traps, but I also have Rheumatoid Arthritis, so I asked my brother if he could do it for me (he’s a very strong heavy construction worker) he couldn’t set them either and he’s the strongest person I know and he’s never had issues with things like this. These should have been a piece of cake for someone like him. I had a couple other people I know that do similar work, none of them could set them. It’s kinda hard to catch those little creatures if you can’t even set the traps, anyway, I ended up returning them. I might have just gotten a “set” of bad traps. If you can get them set they will probably work well. I do think that the manufacturer needs to look into that because if they are all that hard to set…the average person will not be able to set/use them. There were a lot of positive reviews so I’m guessing I just got a set that was bad.

Best mole traps I ever used

These worked once! Just long enough to make me think I had made a great purchase. Within an hour of setting the traps the first day they arrived I had caught a mole. I thought, “ wow they work! Now my yard can stop being torn to shreds.” Every time since then, the traps became harder and harder to set. They would not stay in the locked position and kept “false popping”.. only for me to find no mole caught. I’ve tried setting them so many times now that one of the pressure plates has broken. I even watched other customers videos who suggested putting a rock under the pressure plate, which I did, and the trap locked into place and stayed. The mole is making new tunnels around my trap.. and the trap won’t pop. Such a disappointment.
