Have always brought Johnston's paints so was a little disappointed with this colour and it's depth of coverage applied on top of the dreaded magnolia emulsion and was surprised after two generous coats to see the magnolia coming through would of expected some colour seepage with a greater contrast of base colour to topcoat no biggie but had to go back over the work the next day after allowing 24 hours for total drying usually give a 5 star review on Johnstone's paints but 4 stars

I ordered this paint twice from another supplier & had to return twice because wrong colour was sent & one had leaked.This pot of paint was perfect! No leak & correct colour! Wonderful, thank you x

I bought this paint because I always find the coverage great I also bought the quick drying gloss which I also find good but to my great disappointment the magnolia colours are totally different as they do not match my effect is totally ruined I shall now have to try to find a different brand and hope that the magnolia colour does not turn out to be country cream!!!

Well this would have been a 5* rating but unfortunately it was let down by UPS delivery company as when I opened the box (good quality box and very sturdy) the paint was all over the inside of the box as it had either been dropped or thrown around in the van. After contacting the company through Amazon messages and providing photos they offered me and full refund or a new pot of paint, being honest I said to them I had managed to clean it up and use it for what I wanted to, they then just said thanks and that was that, an offer of something would have been nice since I lost quite a bit of paint and the lid doesn’t fit back on properly either so what is left will go off before I get around to using the rest of the paint, so much for being honest 😂The paint itself is good, good coverage and easy to clean brushes/rollers with warm water.

This is a very nice paint. It's really light and bright and such a good paint for coverage . It's a thumbs 👍 up for me and this is now my favourite grey that I will be using from now on.

I purchased this product because I had run out and like to keep some in stock should I need to do some decorating, which I usually do when my poor health allows it. Because I had not needed to use it for quite a while but it had been stored for less than 2 years, I was surprised that when I opened it for the first time the paint had separated. There was a lot of liquid on the top and paint lower down. Normally, you can just stir paint in that condition and it is restored and ready to use. Not this one! The colour was grey and the consistency was lumpy. It will have to be thrown out as useless. With other paints over the years I have had few, if any that could not be stirred back to life, particularly if less than 2 years old and never opened. So, beware that this product needs to be used quickly as it has a poor, rather short shelf-life. No doubt it would have been good if only I had the chance to use it. I am nervous about buying another tin as I have already lost money over this.
